These looney's should stay well clear of Israel. They've achieved what they wanted to achieve, putting Israel in a very bad spotlight. And I'm not defending Israel, because they do things that should never happen. But this action was planned from the start and Israel fell for it.

Now the looney's should stay well clear and take the official course. Anything else could just increase the situation into a nasty one.

There's not really much I can add to that. You hit the nail on the head with that one. I'd give you 50 stars for that one if I could. It the exact type of attitude that tends to push me towards supporting the Israelis, because many of their loudest detractors are hypocritical and irrational.

Indeed - well said both. I can't stand this attitude that being self-righteous and taking the moral high ground automatically makes one right. The world isn't that simple. Israel acts like it does for a reason. All these Israel bashers would be doing the exact same thing if they were actually in the same position as Israel.

Well, I guess we better just respect that, I mean, 400,000 dead, over a million displaced in six years in the Sudan versus about 40,000 killed on both sides in the 60 years of all these countries attacking Israel. So would you consider saving the Jews from the Nazi's in WW2 silly and irrelavent? It seems to me that the world is going to continue to give Israel just enough rope to hang itself with. What Israel does with this rope is the real question.

It's interesting to see how many UN resolutions against Israel have been vetoed by the US throughout the years. I have to wonder how different this situation would be if the US hadn't have cuddled Israel all these years.

The problem with that line of thinking is that there are real lives at stake. Are you really encouraging the slaughter of millions of Israelis? Women and children? Or do they just deserve to die because of where in the world they came out of a vagina? I could understand advocating a regime change but I can't support genocide.

What I'm trying to say is that the people aren't the problem. I think the government is.

Heck, why not just get every financially strapped nation to form an armada and descend on Israel to start ww3? Who next in PIIGS nations? Spain, or portugal or both or all at the same time.
