95% of People not from Australia or New Zealand, suck at Geography

In the defense of some, I had a map (as a youngster) that had highly extrapolated features-- New Zealand was moved from the corner (to save space) and juxtaposed it in a separate box to the west of Australia (of course, this was noted on the map).

It was (somewhat) similar to this:


Perhaps, hopefully, this is where some confusion has been drawn from?

The babysitter my wife and I hire will have a full background check done by three different sets of people, the F.B.I., because we will pay for it, a team of Private Detectives, because we will pay for it, and myself, because both of those groups of people are not good enough with their criminal background checks.

As far as I am concerned.

This still does not mean I would be an ass to those people who believe a "time-shift" happened, because I am a patient individual, and while I do not sugar-coat nothing, I sure am not going to treat them any less than human.

Sorry, whether they are right, or not, they deserve dignity, just like you.

Honestly, who the Hell cares if someone's theory about a "time-shift" sounds stupid, hokey, or ignorant, there are some people out there who still believe that J.F.K. was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald and that the 9/11 Commission Report was accurate.

I give all theories an ample chance, and if it is worth my time, I follow-up with investigating it, if I find it's bogus, a hoax, or inaccurate, I say so.

So far, if this is how people want to debunk the other thead, you're not winning converts.

You're just making people see you as a bully.

your examples of JFK and 911... Are you serious? We are talking multi dimension and time shift... That is like comparing a sliver in your hand or amputating it... WOW.. so you see these two senarios as plausable? Someone who believes these 2 things are possible, are mental midgets.. That is my opinion. That should be where it ends.. I would not explain anything regarding a country moving without referring to charts, graphs, specific G.P.S. coordinates, and or explaining temporal shifts and causal displacement based upon scientific data completely.

And or throwing in the Large Hadron Collider and or the kitchen sink.

We're not some faraway mystical country full of weird and wonderful critters (ok maybe we are). Look outside your gilded box every once in a while and stop making assumptions about places that may as well not exist for you.

I will admit, i knew where NZ was, but i had thought Australia was much, much further away from any other landmass, especially indonesia or papua new guinea and them. Could be out of date maps or subliminal re-programming or just me misinterpreting maps when i was younfer and the image sticking.

lol it makes sense! the Aussie statement was wrong as they are bad on statistics, however it was still issued by the remaining population that is not aware that the statistic is bad!?
