Apologies. i misread your post. I thought you were saying this is an over-exaggeration and then later said how bad it was.

There is massive and provable, bonafide disifo and contelipro and propaganda surrounding this event. I do not wish to spend the time pointing it all out. we are beyond the days where we need to prove and shout to the sheep. I think we are a move or two away from checkmate.

I hav lost total faith in the MSM to report anything other than what the fact sheet handed to them by gov and corps says. I only read MSM to see what 98% of the sheep are getting. but I can no longer subject myself to the disinfo even a little bit. it is toxic to the mind to see such lies. but..... i understand why 'they' do this. the sheep cannot handle the truth. my position now is to enjoy my life and let it all go. gonna go buy a new car. tell my x-girl i am sorry and forgive her. eat a 20oz ribeye wrapped in bacon and cheese. i'm stocked up of course, but i wonder if that is going to matter. I see where this is going. i will not go and hide or turn into a basket case. I will continue to act, as it is my pleasure to give unto God the fruits of my endeavors. it is time to surrender to destiny and realize this earthly life is but a cloud passing over the spiritsoul....

I wish you peace
may the goodlord shine a light on you all

why don't they fit a pipe onto the top of the dome, connect said pipe to the rig, and start pumping as usual?

No nukes, no underwater explosions! The blowout well is supposedly sitting on the edge of a munitions dump! Terrible ramifications

I guess I'm the only one sensing something strange here.

Exactly how many ice crystals would it take to make a 4 story tower float?
When boats sink crystals don't form. There is no way they can anchor it down with additional weights?

As for the crystals plugging it up, once oil starts to flow, it should prevent any additional formations, correct? Should the force of the oil push any crystals out of the way?

I also have a hard time believing no contingency plans were made for an explosion - they are working with a flammable substance - you think they would have planned for something like this.

Plus I just read at the time of the explosion, BP oil executives were on the platform for a meeting congradulating the employees about safety.

Agreed....not to mention the fact that this deposit is 40% natural gas. The ramifications could be enormous.

I'm not overly religious, but this just sticks out like a sore thumb...

Revelation 8:8-11 (New King James Version)

Second Trumpet: The Seas Struck

8 Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. 9 And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

Has anyone seen the pictures of the oil spill? What color is it? What does it look like to you? Don't know what to make of it, but I'm becoming more and more a man of faith!

And this Dick Cheney's Halliburtin Corporation that ran the drill?

What a surprise.

I am pissed.

Dick Cheney is choreographing Revelation.
and Iran is the "crazy" country?

You are so right. On saturday 90% of the sheeple are boozing it up and going to Target/WalMart/IronMan2.

What's wrong with IronMan 2?

It rocked my jocks

I was stuck in croydon Uk the other day and thought I would go watch a film at the vue . The only flick on at a time that would suit was Ironman 2. I haven't seen ironman 1 and thought It would be a rubbish kids film ( i am 41) How wrong was I, fantastic film with a great cast, Mickey Rourke is superb. I am going to see if I can find a iron man 1 dvd in the bargain bucket. As for the oil it would seem that it is more of a thin sheen that is stretched very thin and wide rather than the heavy oil we are used to seeing come out of broken tankers. I am hoping it won't be as bad as people here are predicting. Also mother nature has a way of self cleaning, It needs a few good storms or a hurricane to help break the oil down.

Unfortunately we are mostly a nation of sheep and will do little or nothing but whine to the criminals in government to fix the problem thier crony criminals created and they will as you said just try and over up the scene of the crime.

Our demise is assured there will never be enough Americans to stand up to these criminals till its too late. By the time Americans feel enough pain to wake up we will be in the thick chaos or civil war or both. This oil mess will never get cleaned up fully. We will be busy trying to survive the economic collapse along with the rest of the world.

I just hope there is enough of the environment left to sustain those who survive all that is heading our way.

No, you're not the only one. I think this whole thing is very suspicious too. It seems like planned incompetence. When I heard on the radio that they had made a giant concrete box to put over the hole I laughed in disbelief. I instinctively thought it sounded ridiculous and it would never work. I'm not really that big on physics/engineering but it turned out my feeling was right.

I'm sure it was planned that this oil spill would keep on gushing whilst ridiculous schemes are proposed and fail. There's also the less sinister (but just as terrible) possibility that this is all about money and no-one wants to pick up the tab for stopping this leak properly, they don't care about the consequences.

I've been lurking ATS for years, the past month or two of events alone make me glad I've done so.

I've woken up all those close to me about certain topics discussed here. This oil spill has finally made me become a member here. Telling a regular person about this is an absolute joke. Can we do more then sit back and watch??

I know, it is depressing. But if you read the words of of Mr Simmons, a 41 year vet in the industry you will realize that it doesn't matter whether it is 10, 60 or even a 100 thousand barrels a day, it (in this article 50 million barrels) will all end up in the Gulf anyway 'cause they just don't have the means to permanently fix it.

It really is a catastrophe," Simmons said. "I don't think they're going to be able to put the leak out until the reservoir depletes. It's just too technically challenging.

Just a theory, but who's to say this Dome isn't the nuke itself? Afterall the US needs a Alibi to ship it out there, 2x container ships heading out to the Gulf would start to increase suspicious.

Did anyone actually see the thing (hollow) being lowered into the water, all we saw was a Container being shipped out until we were told this "thing" was at the bottom of the sea-bed, apparently capping off the Oil to 80%, until now there telling us crystalisation is threatening that ops.

A strange thought maybe, but if they are unable to stop this then to protect the rest of the oceans we should close the gulf.
Dont know if this really is possible but it would save the rest of our oceans and wildlife.

Yeah, I live in Alaska too (Southeast luckily) but I did have the experience of going up to a beach in Seward, digging in the dirt a few inches, pouring water in, and voila! Crude oil comes up. Plus a lot of beaches are still stained. It is disgusting how Exxon handled it. You guys were so screwed by them. We can only wait and see how BP handles the damages since they can do the same if they want.

[Very well said, I agree with you 100%. Why isn't this on EVERY HEADLINE on the planet...this is my third thread on this subject in trying to raise awareness and it seems like ET gets MUCH more attention! How does this make sense? The coverup is obvious as is the media blackout...I have a friend who works for Syncrude in Ft.McMurray Alberta who just returned after a 3 week hitch, he hadn't heard a SINGLE word about this, and he works for one of the biggest oil companies in Canada. ]

the oil firms/aka gov. restricted ofcourse MSM footage....
if it was an nucliar disaster.. the newspapers an broadcast would be filled up with it.. just sentiment....... really disguisting !!!!

other side... if you spill one gallon of oil in your garden... you would brought to court with it...and nailed douwn...

but the effects... if it goes on to long the oil will be picked up by the hot gulf stream and float straigt to the north pole... perhaps it micht even disturb the stream and cousing an ice age....on termin.......

footage of the rigg workers that survived..

news.mobile.msn.com...

Come on... The only reason why any of you "out there" people seem to care is because it's a conspiracy in the making. That's what you guys get off on. It's never about the people that died, or the disaster to the environment. It's about the bad guys and how their out to get you and everyone else in the world. Instead of donating your money to a disaster you people come on this site, make posts advising people to stock up on supplies and food, and build a bunker or just sit back and watch the show.

It's never about the disaster with any of you just the conspiracy in the making...

Well, i think you are being a bit harsh there.....but ultimately correct (although i wouldnt agree with the totality of your sentiment). I think the media has a lot to do with it, desensitising people to the empathic depths of disasters. It seems like we can almost get excited by the next disaster, the newest horror and in some ways they hold a similar morbid fscination to watching a car accident.

I dont think people know sometimes that they are doing it (and i'm not pointing fingers here) but the whole scale of the tragedy is often eclipsed by the 'excitement' of what might happen, who might be to blame and so on. Sometimes it feels as though true empathy for other people and nature looses out to the thought process utilised to discuss the subjects.....and maybe even more so on sites such as ATS.

Perhaps each us here can inform our families, relatives and friends to write in to our elected representatives, military and shipping firms with ships to stop thinking about profits for a week or more, but to head to the gulf and clear the oil?

With an international armanda of ships, perhaps we humanity can help to prevent the oil from spreading, a global effort, after all, once it gets into the currents, it's gonna SHTF for our seas worldwide?
