Do you understand that making minimum wage is MUCH more than what they can make back home? And yes they do get by, and have been for a very long time.

Look man if you can not compute in your brain the idiocy of what you are saying I can no longer talk to you. For me to continue in this line of discourse I would be picking on a mentally handicapped person. So let me try to explain this to you at the worlds standard 3rd grade elementary school level which is equivalent to Americas high school senior level of education. I am doing this to see if there is a slight spark of intelligence in your brain, although i'm very doubtful i'm not one to judge a mans ability to think based on his astoundingly heart breaking forum posts.

So here we go.

Mexico = A

USA = b

The illegal immigrant = X

If (X) earns 10 dollars a month in (A) but the cost of living is only 5 dollars a month in country (A), (X) has a remainder of 5 dollars a month to save.

Now if (X) moves to country (B) and easily finds a job in the same day (X) got to country (B) and starts earning 200 dollars a month but the cost of living is 195 dollars a month in country (B), (X) has a remainder of 5 dollars a month.

(X) is a sad panda because (X) is still only able to provide 5 dollars to his family back home in country (A) so (X) tries to cut his cost of living in country (B) by moving in with another 15 (X)'s in a small tiny little room.

the only benefit of working in the US and earning money in the US is to send it back to mexico where it is worth more. The money earned in the US if spent in the US is worth exactly the same amount as if you made money in Mexico and spent it in Mexico.

In other words.....

Correct. Illegal immigration has been a net economic loss for many years. In many cases no taxes are paid for their employment. Most of the money is shipped back to Mexico and other third world countries and US taxpayers have to foot the bill for the crime, hospital bills and the education of their youth.

If CA got rid of their illegals their books would be back in the black within a year. Any nation with common sense is selective to some extent with regards to immigration. Also let's not forget that some of those so called Mexican illegals are actually Al Qaeda operatives.

Give up yet? I *don't* agree with it, I think they should all be deported and any companies that use them should be prosecuted/fined. There is a path to citizenship in this country, and giving these people blanket amnesty is unfair to those who have worked their butts off for 2-3 years(some many more) just to get the CHANCE of becoming a citizen.

How about we open BOTH SIDES of the border. Allow any American to go down to mexico and buy up all the property and businesses they want to because it's way cheaper than doing it here.

Money... the money illegals send back home accounts for the second largest source of foreign dollars and just over 2% of their GDP.. they don't want their people back hell they want to add to the 12 to 20 million already here

Well, you have put up quite a few more replies. Isn't it nice to be a US citizen, and have a right to speak about what you believe?

Even people with twisted ideals, have a right to express their opinion.

One thing that struck me though, after mulling your responses, trying to get your point across, you had not much to say about the US, that was positive.

Now being that you are a hispanic, who is a legal resident, with not much nice to say, I'd like to know why YOU are still here?

If you are so unhappy, and all of us residents are in the dark, uneducated, and stupid, why do you surround yourself with us?

Yet another youtube hero. Try reading a book...you could start with The Skin of the Sky. I'm still trying to figure you out, but from what I read you are from mexico? So you're angry our government does not do more to control illegal aliens, but you are mad about arizona's bill? I'm just trying to figure you out. It just seems you are upset that all these people are leaving your violence riddled country.

It's easy to see that you have a very little grasp on knowledge of business. I would put up my 3rd grade american education against yours any day. I guarantee the college I attend just about blows away any sort of education you received. Speaking of which do you have any idea how much illegal immigration is affecting our school systems here? No of course not you only look at a few things such as the illegals paying rent, and businesses benefiting, and what else? You do not look at the whole spectrum of things. The bad by far outweighs the good. Here in wisconsin the largest city is milwaukee( 75-90 miles north of chicago). The city is really struggling with their education system, but not only are they dealing with citizens of the united state's kids but now also illegal immigrant's children. A lot are coming here from chicago as of recently. This is not in alighn with the rest of the state which is well known for having very high test scores as compared to the rest of the nation. I know all this because I wrote a 15 page report on it for my frosh english class 4 years ago. So not only are illegal immigrants hurting us by taking needed jobs, not paying taxes, still using many public services, crime, but also dragging down education in big cities.

And seriously what is up with the america equals b mexico is A crap equation. Really? You're not as smart as you think you are and whit isn't always the best way to try and appear smart. Why not just state the facts without acting stupid?

Take a look at Mexico's own illegal immigration laws, I should post a separate thread on the subject.

They make our new Arizona law look weak and overly kind hearted.

Where we give them a free bus ride to the border, the Mexican equivalent starts out with 2 years in jail, talk about them being hypocrites.....

Whatever the current situation is in Arizona, is in opposition of the law, and the state it would be in if the illegals were not present.

Even if they are making money from the illegals, they are not being forced to pay the same tax dollars that legals citizens are making.
They do not adhere to the same level of state responsibility that legals are.
Whomever is making a lot of money off of the illegal immigrant population is, in effect, doing so illegally.

If there are going to be painful changes to make, then so be it.

You don't keep a situation based on breaking the law, continuing, just because it is easier to do so, and because certain people are making money from it.
