Well when someone like Stephen Hawkins says that aliens are real,it sounds different to the common people who usually laugh with the idea.
We shouldn't be surprised that conditions in the universe are suitable for life, but this is not evidence that the universe was designed to allow for life. We could call order by the name of God, but it would be an impersonal God. There's not much personal about the laws of physics.
I am discounting reports of UFOs. Why would they appear only to cranks and weirdos?

Make no mistake, the only reason why Hawkins became so prominent lately was only because he is from the pro-we are alone- camp many so called establishment science folks belong to.

I don't think now is the time to send messages in to space for two reasons
1) If ET received our messages and appeared today, we would have no means of defending ourselves if worst came to worst.
2) The ET's would arrive and see that planet Earth is the civic equivalent of a retarded bird with no wings that can barely communicate with itself.
It's not the kind of state you want to be in when engaging with advanced lifeforms.
I'd rather engage with advanced lifeforms when we are advanced and developed enough to ensure our place among the stars.
I take this extra caution because there is only one human race and we only have one ship we sail on at the moment. I believe we can't afford to take risks until we are quite highly advanced and developed, socially, culturally and technologically.

Not to try to contact them because they will destroy us....tooooooooo Hollywood.By the way we don't need aliens to destroy us.....we can do it ourselves

Once again, Matrix Rising confuses skepticism about aliens visiting the Earth with a disbelief in alien life. Only in the closed-minds of people like Matrix Rising are they one in the same. While there is no doubt among scientists and skeptics that we are not the only intelligent life in the universe, Matrix Rising continues to accuse them of not believing in extraterrestrial life. It demonstrates the depths of her ignorance and closed-mindedness.

Extraterrestrials comprehend the pure simple and powerful truth. Everything, including them, and us, is the Creator creating of itself in perpetuity.
Is this a statement of fact, or just conjecture on your part? To me it looks like you are presenting a statement of fact….
I can assure you they have been here before, they are benevolent.
Another statement of fact on your part…
What privities do you have of these facts, a higher level of conscience? That is why I suggest the rest of us are ignorant.
Not only that but there is a quarantine like I said, ancient civilizations were given such advanced information that lead to self-destruction and thus the quarantine was set in place.
Another factual statement on your part that aliens have been here before, how do you know?
I’ll go back to my post in saying how do you present such undeniable facts with what evidence we have available? So this means you either have more, or you have as much as the old lady has about her cat….hehe

I am ingenuously giving information that reflects the essential or genuine character of extraterrestrial reality. Whether you believe me or not does not matter. Adding to this thread is what I have chosen to do, you can ignore all my statements.

Well then I apologize for reading into your post in that way.

The point is I would like to follow your posts, but extraterrestrial reality is very limited, unless you have further information about it, or have greater abilities to be aware of things the rest of us are not. As example, how do you know a planet is alive?

They do not need technology to overcome advanced feats that we think is only possible with technology. Their awareness of what is, is far outside of the box of most Humans.
The Creation is the Creator. This is why they won't be destroying us, this is why they don't need our "resources", how humorous for many Humans to think this way about such advanced sentient beings that watch over us.
Humanity is living in such fear, instead of opening in Love and acceptance of each other. This fear is what divides the people of earth and causes a vast array of morbid occurrences.

Humanity, the majority that is, see's that anything living must fit a certain criteria; the usual being that a living entity must a be a bio-chemical distillery and thus be conscious. This would be true on this planet, and true to the human definition; however, for something to not be "living" (once again in human terms), does not mean it is not conscious. The entire Universe is One singularly conscious entity that creates in perpetuity - of itself.

I think Mr. Hawking's message is the same as it's always been...
Listening is ok, but if we broadcast ourselves, not only do we announce it to potential friends, but to potential enemies as well, and since there is no way to "take it back", we should be careful in making such an announcement to the Universe...
(Although, I'd argue that it's already too late...)

Though I can see that the universe might be conscious, I don't see it as a conscious that humans can understand in anyway. I do not see the universe as perpetual or at least the reality we live in as perpetual. A big bang followed by a big crunch 50 billion years later may just be one exhale and a inhale, but our universe will end even if a new one is started all over again.
With that said all of this is so far out of our area of influence that it has little or no meaning to us. Other life that we can physically interact with in some way is really the only life of concern.
