The fact is in a free country manufacturers would put in as much damn salt as they wanted.

You mean "As their Customers Wanted".

I know what you meant though.

Too bad our economic system does not work on these sound principals eh? Thus the word fiat or fake comes to mind.

Either way if your body messes up and you get sick without insurance you lose everything, the prices are outragous. With insurance you get screwed month to month. There is no winning only hopeing not to lose everything from a bill.

If I could I would rather burn all my money and let me die then give money to the system after they knew what I now know. Of course though I hope I die in my sleep or something cause this planet is based on fear and money and I had my fill.

So the only thing I hope for now is to die in my sleep and the cruelness of fate will prolly screw me there too!!!

ahhhhhh!

Cheer up Dude. It is not all that bad.

I just want to keep my freedoms that I have left, and maybe get a few back that were lost along the way.

Wouldn't if feel great if you went through one day in your life where the government didn't have a hand in everything you did that day?

What freedoms have you lost...what does the government control in your everyday life???

I ask these questions so many times on here...and never get a good answer. Seeing that you are new here...maybe you have some new ideas.

Lets see. When I get up and want to smoke they have already taxed my cigarrettes. When I get in my car I and it has to have a license to be legal. I have to have car insurance. When I go to work they take 25% or more of my pay. I have to wear certain shoes, a hard hat, and follow certain safety guidelines because of them.

My employer has to pay me less because he is taxed and regulated out the ass. I can barely buy a thing made in America because they have overtaxed and overly regulated business to the point that we cannot compete with China.

When I come home from work and park accross the street, I must walk to the corner and cross because I would be jay walking other wise.

When I go to bed, my matress has a government approved sticker on it for fear that I might burn up in my sleep, because I am obviously too stupid to research and buy a mattress that is safe.

I guess my question to you is what part of my life is not regulated in one form or another by either the fed, state, or local government?

I guess you never heard of that Patriot Act.

Did you know by Law, you no longer have a right to a lawyer or a trial by jury? You can be convicted on CHARGES YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW, by a secret military tribunal.

Did you no you no longer have a right to know when you are being investigated? In fact, you can have your house legally searched WITHOUT A WARRANT ANYMORE.

YES YOU.

It doesn't matter if your an American citizen, or some one else's citizen. The US govt will come in your nation and get you if they feel like it (Afghanistan anyone?) .

It's called Patriot Act 101. Learn to read please.

You ask that question all the time but IGNORE all the answers? ??

No more than giving all that you've earned from Jan 1st to May 1st back to the government (income tax).

America is no longer home of the free.

So you want Anarchy...is that what I'm hearing?

You didn't list one "freedom" that you have lost...you are just complaining about rules put in place by society through government laws.

I'm sorry you don't understand why you need a license, or why you have to wear a hard hat, or why there are jay walking laws...they all have very valid reasons that any civilized society would want in place.

And there is a very simple solution...if you don't like the rules of the current society you live in...there are many others to choose from. I don't think you are going to find a place you personally would like to live...because you are looking for Anarchy while still enjoying the benefits of a civilized society (safe work place, nice roads to drive on, and all the benefits that tax dollars are used for).

You never answered my question about the FDA...so it is pointless to ask you another...but hey...I'll try anyway.

Would you like to live in a society where a boss can force you to do any extremely dangerous task and if you don't....he won't pay you? Or do you enjoy the laws that make it illegal to do so? Would you like to live in a society where someone decides that they just like to drive on the left side of the road...or are you happy that we have rules and standards to prevent something like that?

I never ignore when people answer with the patriot act...and I agree with them. That legislation should be scrapped and it is one of the only examples of a loss of freedom that someone can give.

But funny how HE didn't mention it...and neither do most people I ask this question to. Because they are thinking of some fantasy world where having to pay taxes (which is in the constitution) means that they are not free. Where having a law to have a safe work place means you are no longer free.

You can go up and read his response yourself...does he mention the patriot act?

So who is worse...the one complaining about losing freedoms and then not even mentioning the ONE 100% fact of loss of freedom??? Or the guy who keeps asking the questions and seeing people fail time after time???

Freedom to live. If you receive money in any form, the GOVT wants 15-50%. If you want to buy something, you have to pay 5-12% on the total cost. If you want to LIVE on DIRT, you have to pay the government taxes, etc. HUGE lists of taxation after taxation. We are over taxed.

new healthcare bill: if you can't afford insurance, you are thrown in jail (where other people's tax money is used to keep you alive there). Kind of doesn't solve the problem, does it?

And live somewhere else?! The elites are trying to make all the civilized nations work the same way, so they you won't have anywhere to go! That's the point! There is no longer a freedom founded libertarian society. The USA is dead.

I know, right? They're still free. Free to not pay and go to jail. Free to not pay and have your home taken away. Free to not pay and potentially be killed by government employees (paid with those taxes) who kick in your door at 3AM to collect.

I'd like to see a bill for universal tax relief. It's no fun coming home to a vacate order because I was late. It's no fun seeing that late bill compound astronomically because I was out of work. It's no fun when the town comes and takes my only method of transportation from me because I had to choose the car tax or the mortgage. Sure, I still have the house but I cant get to work. So when will they come take that?

When those evil corporations and banks take everything you own and load you with impossible debt it's a horrible atrocity that needs immediate correction. When the government does it all you get is "well, you should have paid up."

Yes I wouldn't mind that at all. I am a grown man. If I dont want to do something I wont do it. I dont need the government to be my big brother and protect me from everything.

Beyond that I wouldnt work for a man who would expect me to do something he would not be willing to do first.

Reading what you have written makes me believe that there are some people who could have every last freedom taken from them without even complaint as long as the government told them it was for their own good.

Here's a fun anecdote for ya. My second job was a government job. My boss routinely asked me to do outrageously dangerous things. Things I was obviously not qualified to do and were definite violations of OSHA.

His excuse, and the excuse of several of his peers and superiors when I started complaining and asking around, was: "you've got government health insurance so dont worry."

That job didnt last too long.

LMAO!

That is actually easy to believe. It seems these government folk like to make lots of rules that apply to everyone but them... It is because they are smarter than us.

So you don't want to pay any taxes...right?

So let's hear your solution on how to fund the needs of society.

I'm sure you can find a country somewhere (maybe in Africa) where people don't pay taxes...you are FREE to move there. Of course you won't have any roads, utilities, schools, and you probably won't even have a job...or a house...or food. But at least you won't be paying taxes and you will be FREE.

So...what is stopping you? If taxes are your big complaint and that is limiting your freedom...then move....I know you won't...hmmmm....I wonder why??? Maybe because YOU love living in a country where taxes have provided a very comfortable society to live in???

Do you study history at all? Do you think OSHA and work safety laws just came out of nowhere? Do you think the government was just board and had nothing better to do?

Yes...you are a grown man. But hey...let's get that pesky government out of the way so we can open up sweatshops where you are locked inside until the day is done. And guess what...it is bring your kid to work day...silly child labor laws...governement just getting in the way. And btw...you are gonna make the same wage they get in China...because that silly minimum wage law will be done away with.

But that is right...you just won't choose to work at one of those places right??? What makes you think there will be any place to work that isn't like this? Like I said....do you study history?

And are you going to answer my other questions? Or just keep dodging them because the answers will contradict your agenda???

Now dont get all grumpy with me.

See the sad thing is that many people expect someone to provide them a job. Have you ever heard of creating your own business/job?

The thing you have trouble seeing is that once the government goes bankrupt we will become a third world sweat shop factory for the rest of the world.

There is nothing wrong with a little government. The issue is that it has become entirely:
1. TOO BIG
2. TOO INSTRUSIVE
3. TOO EXPENSIVE

It is like a noose around the neck of every American businsess. We cannot compete in the global marketplace, because the government keeps our hands tied behind our backs.

What we need to do is to change the paradigm and view this as we are in a global economic war. If we did this then we would be willing to adjust to win for our very survival is at stake.

Your beloved government itself has said that its current ways of functioning is UNSUSTAINABLE. Of course there idea to sustain it is just to take more of our money to feed the beast. Whatever happened to trimming down the government. People do it in their homes, small businesses do it, multi national corps do it, why can't the government?

As far as the rest of your questions, ask them one at a time and I will do my best to answer them.

Also, I dont think I have an agenda. I am just voicing my opinion like everyone else on this site.

If I could just have the family farm back I wouldnt need the roads or the schools or any of that other garbage that only serves to make self sustainable life impossible and enforces commutes and decentralized development.

There isnt anywhere on this Earth I can go for that. Not without some authority claiming ownership and fining me, throwing me in jail or just killing me.

You have to pay taxes to live. So you have to have an income. So you have to be apart of the system they set up. Sure, it makes a more comfortable life for the moron mass but it's simultaneously pushing the minority to futile madness. With madness we get blown up buildings.

The only two ways to get a self sustainable life now are complete vagrantism often making the practitioner a fugitive or become independently wealthy.

Well look at the bright side.

You can always just get a doctor to say you cannot work. Then you can collect government benefits, get free housing, get a free cell phone, get free insurance, food stamps, a little spending money, etc...

Then if you want a raise, just knock up the old lady and have her plop out another kid. Then just don't waste your time raising it and give it barely enough to survive and use the extra money to pimp your ride.

The beauty of it is you wont pay a dime in taxes. You won't be late to work because you don't work. Plus, if you get bored you can always find a little work under the table.

No need to feel guilty either. This is obviously what the government wants us all to do, or else why would they reward us for behaving that way and punish us for being responsible?
