Mt. Etna Eruption ~ Local Coverage (latest event: Feb. 19 0500 local time! )

There was a small but very loud Strombolian explosion last night at the Bocca Nuova. Pressure has droped a little today but still up.
There has just been an earthquake in the Ionian which can be seen on the webicoder.

She's being ugly. Just belching out dark fuzzy foggy 'stuff' without anything usual. I know it sounds crazy but it's like she's sick. No nice clean spouting of ash ans steam and lave - just a slow ooze of gunk and stink.

Who knows what might happen now? Full moon too...

Strange I didn't hear the 'loudness' of last night... That's strange. My dog heard something and freaked this morning early - I'll have to check on the times.

At the moment there's nothing to see but an ugly dark haze.

I just loved the noise It sounded like this was massive.

I don't know why I'm not hearing or seeing this! Very frustrating!
Of course I see what she's 'doing' during the day - her 'output' - but just no hearing or seeing anything in the evenings/night!
