I am hoping she will be ok but there is a lot of activity with her over the last 2 days.
Here is the recent Webicoder. Image is big because I am at work with no graphics editor.

The question is, will she blow this month? Lot's of activity on the webicoder and quite a few local earthquakes. Still no real signs though at the moment. Will try to keep you informed.

How's your 'triangle' look?

Very confusing, the last time the triangle matched there was an earthquake in Greece, the time before Turkey. So I have to do more figures to see which point of the triangle is first and which direction it then goes, clockwise or anticlockwise.

Beginning since July this year, an there is elevated activity in a SW-NE trending zone passing through Nea Kameni and the submarine Kolumbos volcano NE of Santorini. Most of the known volcanic vents of Santorini during the past 2 million years were located on this alignment, more precisely either on its southern boundary (Kameni line) or on its northern boundary (Kolumbus line). There was several all in a row. Etna is now slightly unstable and showing a few hotspots. Stats rose a little so I am keeping an eye on her for an hour or two.

I can't chance this even if I am wrong. She is on her way to the 18th paroxysmal eruptive episode. I was hopeing she would settle back down and she still could. Just in case get the batteries ready and the tarps out to cover animals and plants.

Still climbing but slowly. No more quakes fror just over an hour.

She is already showing a little lava.

Once again I'm under too much cloud cover to see - amazing you've got those shots! Fantastic job.
And yes - she's got that 'feeling' going on.
You can feel it in the air now.
I'll keep my eyes looking up for a break in the clouds.

getting very dark brown smoke now and lava fountain beginning. Not that high yet.

I can't see her and it's making me crazy! She's making a really amazing sound - very different than the last 17 times (can you believe 17!) - anyway - it's just one long rolling grumble like rolling thunder that just doesn't stop!
No earth shakes but a lot a noise.
Animals already covered!

Edit to Add: Look at that color smoke. Wow!

This is so unreal! You're showing pics with sun and it's dark light evening here with clouds! Amazing the difference. I was going to post a pic but it's silly to waste the bandwidth - just imagine a cloudy grey day.

LOTS of noise - like I said the 'strange' rumbling.

I will post more tonigh once I have reduced the size a little. Most cams now are showing nothing but cloud or dark blue evening sky as that column blocks the sun.
