Radio Studio 7's webcams are back online

I've got to get to some of the graphs - I'm dying to see the registers on the ground shakes. They're not letting up - if anything she's getting louder and the ground shaking stronger.

I'll go back and search for those links Tzvaros - I realize you're at work and your hands are tied.

Well there ya go! That last big 'cough' and 'rumble' must have been it for now.
She went from everything to nothing in a couple of seconds!

The ash is covering the sun now in my area.
She's quiet but still putting out 'rain-ah' - but easing up finally with that too.
The lava must have traveled close, the smoke from the fires is right over the next hill.
So much for my sun worshiping time today! *wink*

Overcast now with ash... Bummer... My rooster is crowing, lol. (Kat should appreciate that)...

There's a saying about Sicilians... We always have 'one eye open and one eye closed'... That will be me for the rest of the day with out Etna!

The first people are back, according to the webcams
I'm glad that she decided to quiet down again

Not quite as high as the last paroxysm. Level has gone down but lines are still quivering

She may be 'quiet' on the scales but by the looks of her there's either a lot of lava output - or a lot of brush fires falling down from her crater. Since 'Canada Air' isn't buzzing overhead putting out the fires logic tells me I'm seeing lava, even if I can't see the color. Hard to tell until the sun goes down a little more - will let you know.

Did you take that pic of the lava river?
Looks awesome-I would be tempted to try to cook something over that-If I could get near enough.
Maybe an extra long pole could hold the food to be cooked?

I wonder what lava cooked food would taste like..

No, in fact I didn't it's from the video (a screen shot from vid) and I neglected to post it was from the vid. Sorry about that, not intentional. I'm normally very good about making sure to give credit where it's due (as you can see in other picture posts) and this time I just spaced it. My apologies. I'll get a Mod to fix it. Thank you for bringing it to my attention!

That being said I've cooked on hot lava rocks and not noticed much a difference in taste but it is intriguing to think of roasting something over a bed like that!

Tzavros, I noticed those too. What I saw were bright points of light, maybe bright stars, planets? One came in from the left side of screen as a bright point of light, then about 3 frames later it turned into a "round cloud" then about 5 frames later it came back to a bright point of light. Phage might tell you they are hot pixels. They moved relatively fast... I think I will bring up Stellarium later and see what planets/stars are up over etna. Did you see my pic of the moon last night?

Wonderful video and still Silo, what great pictures!
Those objects, look like balloons but they can't be, can they...? I dont think so. Unless weather/temperature balloons, thats just a guess as I have no idea if they even have those things. Wish they were ufo's though!

That film is absolutely epic! If there's any way possible can you post to youtube so we can show it here? I'd love to put it before the throngs here and see what they have to say.

Personally - I think it's something marvelous. Something we don't see every day and something wonderful. What that is I have no clue, but I've no doubt it's something wonderful.
