Well I would have to guess thre timeline is firm and they have 3 days from the day of receipt. So I guess the hurry up and wait game applies.

Well, unless you have been sleeping under a rock for the past two weeks, you may have heard, there is a group that has taken it upon themselves to attempt in reigning in the US’s out of control government. There purpose is completely peaceful and lawful as far as I can tell. There is so much misinfo being propagated, that I thought I would send a message to several media outlets so that the truth can be disseminated.

There has been letters that have been sent to all 50 governors and to other numerous government agencies. I do not know what is in these packages but what I and others have discovered, is that this is a peaceful movement, to return our country to its roots of a Constitutional Republic. Hi all, been following this thread with some great interest. I myself resisted signing on to join any of the groups that seem to be affiliated by this.

One thing I did find though. The TRAP thing did get my attention, and I even noticed how people dropped the leading "T" because it seemed to make them uncomfortable...

I watch Cops and shows like that a lot, I love reality TV. Lets just say, they use things like this to do stings. Not to incite any panic, just bringing that point up as it was left to slide before, after someone else mentioned it. I think this belongs in the OP "Some of the things to keep in mind" portion. With the information I was able to obtain, I found the following:

Does anyone know how this document will be legally upheld? What makes this legal and lawful inside of the United States law?

I know this has been attempted before... although not as complete as this... what makes this grievance with the Government different?

I provided this link, not in support of the adl, but to provide some short, well scribed information on the Michigan origins, as well as a descriptor of the thought patterns relating to this type of movement. Ironically, the registrant of that website lives in Michigan.

This isn't the first time this has been done, and I doubt it will be the last, and I simply advise against jumping on to any bandwagon without knowing the players of the music.

One thing of note, with a little digging, anyone can find out who the registrant of that site was, and that person may well be the providing link to the Michigan stings last week. As we obviously do not know the locations of the stings, and who was involved, again, one would be well advised to exercise caution. If you have enough diligence, Google Earth is your friend...

Reading the above link, with a stand back and see the big picture sort of attitude may have a bit of grounding effect to this thread. Not trying to derail it, or cause problems, but by the same token - there are factual things in the link that identically parallell the gotfr group.

I understand the non-violence angle.

Doesn't mean that history has not laid a groundwork that would be difficult, if not nearly impossible to overcome.

However, you have also had someone state they were approached to join and erred to the side of caution and did not.

Just think, is all I am saying.

i know where friends and all but as a friend dont you think your being nieve to think that sending this thread to the media, that the media would believe any truth and that they have an agenda that they MUST follow because they are on a leash?? not only that but look at your ATS avatar mang.... a tornado goin thru the white house. that has extremist written all over it in the media's eyes... the media is part of the problem, not part of the solution...

i find the words of this document to be quite powerful... i like it. think the media and govs. know about april 19th when they then receieve the "articles of freedom"? april 19th will be an interesting day.... could even be historic.. who knows.

Well, I know the media is part of the problem. I am just a researcher here. Just as many are. I have not done anything wrong as many have not. Just spreading information as I see it.

Of course things are going to get interconnected. That is the way of the internet. I had been thinking in the beginning to send emails to the major media outlets. There is no harm in contacting them. I am sure they have researchers just like us pouring over the internet trying to find information.

I am still thinking this is a true possible solution. To lawfully and legally attempt to remove un Constitutional controls on us.

I and others have done nothing wrong by disseminating information.

If anyone gets in trouble for that, well we have already lost our freedom have we not?

Time is up. It has been more than 72 hours. If action doesn't start to be taken to get rid of the governors who didn't pledge to oath, I'm calling a hoax on this. I'm a patient man, but if nothing has happened by the end of April 19th, then I doubt anything will ever happen.

if something fails, it doesnt make it a hoax... more likely than not, it will fail BUT... i think its already been a moral victory as when has this happened in anyones lifetime here on ATS... never, they know we, the people, are pissed... and that is a victory.

Nope. I am saying several things, but not that.

I think gofr hijacked the movement from Continental Congress 2009, as the website, iirc, has changed from the first posting. I say this because, though I did not capture the screen, there were guidelines to joining, one was to read and agree to the articles and declarations, and then pledge.

That seems to be missing now, but when it was there it was black underlined text, and privided no links. I perused the site multiple times in an attempt to read said articles, but was unable to find them. It almost appeared that if you entered your info and clicked on the pledge button, you may be introduced to said articles, but who in their right mind would provide info without seeing it first to know what they were signing on for?

It smelled like a phising site to me, I would be more suspect of this site being an information gathering site than any of the others, but thats just me. Enter your infor THEN we will tell you? Mmm, no thanks.

I can only provide evidence that the site has changed somewhat from a few days ago, as others had posted the same questions, where are the links? Where is this info? What's the big secret? Where are these articles of freedom?

How do you think I found the articles of freedom on the Continental Constitution website? I gleaned the term from gotfr.

The second thing I am saying, snardfarker is hosted in Texas, but the registrant lives in Michigan, same state as the stings last week. Not sure about gotfr, haven't had the time to research it yet, but their text is extremely similar to the text of Continental Congress.

Continental Congress had planned to send the Articles of Freedom to the government on April 19th, and to hold a rally the same day.

Now, in listening to the youtube videos parts 1-3, he states they "had to move faster than originally planned" because Obama knew they were coming, and he was going to sign treaties next month. This, having been said in March, would mean some time in April.

Some time in April is when the Continental Congress had planned to send their Articles to the government.

It is proposed that these Articles be distributed to All in the Land, with the intent to draw the attention and courage of a “goodly number of millions of People” who, entitled to their Freedom and essential to Its maintenance, Arise to Restore and maintain the Constitution for the United States of America.

Then and only then shall America’s Destiny be Fulfilled.

So I maintain my position that they did hijack the plan, and instituted some of their own agenda into the mix. This clouds the water for Continental Congress, as it now is going to be used to link them to "an extremist group", as I outlined in my other post.

I would expect to possibly see a declaration from wtp and Continental Congress in an attempt to distance themselves from this group.

The snardfarker thing was a seperate issue that was brought into the mix, as they seemed to attempt to derail the gotfr movement with the "What really happened at Continental Congress?"", so I simply provided background information that I believe may support that.

I suspect it could be government related, not in that the hosting site resolves to a government site, as I did not find that at all, but by taking the registrants address and google.maps, and simply typing:

police [web registrants address] lawrence michigan

I did the same with FBI, CIA, etc.

police was a payoff, as the registrant appears to be located in the central part of the government area of town, merely blocks from the State Police headquarters. Again, if you have due diligence, this information is simple for anyone to find.

It leads to some simple specualtions, hence why I mentioned they may be in some way related to the Michigan stings, but I don't have enough information on the location of those stings. They could be informants, or could have even inadvertantly provided information via the Patriot Act.

I err on the side of caution, however, because I am simply suspicious of anyone and say this guy is knee deep in cop town in Michigan, in the middle of a government complex, and yet, he has web hosting in Texas, lauding as a good ole boy. Even aligning himself with, and making money of the Alex Jones name.

This could be part of the Alex Jones conglomerate, as he seems to have a pretty huge company, which some people know traces to Europe. Hm. Screams disinfo to me. I could be wrong, but hey, it's anyones guess atm.

This is why I say err on the side of caution, however. Like I said about bandwagons, know who the musicians are before you agree to join and play the drums.

Excellent breakdown. Yes, I read through all of the 2009 Continental Congress site and also the Articles of Freedom. Yes, have not joined anything, I am a leader, not a follower.

That is what these movements are all about, in my viewpoint. Common law and the re-institution of the Constitutional Republic is all about individual responsibility and honor.

Like I said, thanks for the extra info and legwork. I think this movement cannot be trying to entrap people through the internet though. Even if one was to pledge at that site, the courts or government could not use that in a court of law. What, signing up for something on the internet would be considered a seditious act? I think this could be a way of tracking people that are fed up with government-ala FEMA but I have not seen any validity to that scare mongering as of yet. Except of course for the legislation to build 5 or 6 major FEMA centers.

Any and all info is appreciated. I am just trying to breakdown the info I have come across in the last 3 days, while still living a life.

Well, though I replied to you, when I said you, or inferred it, I of course mean you personally as well as the you's that may also read these posts.

That being said, I don't think it is being used to entrap people. Not per se, at least, but as you said, perhaps to gain leads and gather info. That's the job of the Feds anyway. It's what they do. Simply being aware of that simple fact should be enough to make the crowds a touch more wary, as it were.

The snardfarker site? Not so sure about. As I detailed in my previous post, it's sure one I would stay away from, but thats just my opinion, and you know what they say about those!

Anyway, excellent thread, all the posts in relation to this have been very informational, but the movement for becoming sovereign citizens is nothing new, really. This group has just brought it to the forefront, perhaps their timing was really, really bad. Perhaps they are all linked, who is to know?

The reason I provided the adl link was, as I stated, simply to provide some history as most would know it, because it is there and it does have some unpleasantness associated with it.

Above all, people should educate themselves on all fronts of the movement, because they do all come in to play here, like it or not. The bad comes with the good and all of that.
