Time will tell, but like the Washington State militia I would think they have pretty solid evidence of their involvement in the stated crimes.

For the WSM the FBI videotaped the group discussing and planning attacks. The indictment suggests they have a similar level of evidence here - pretty detailed insight into their plans.

Alternatively, perhaps quite possible that other militia turned them in?

Or would other local militia be supportive of a group taking out their local cops?

You know, this so-called "plan" of theirs sounds like something only the Feds could come up with. Let's face it - it's so retarded that anyone stupid enough to actually believe it would work DESERVES to be sent to jail - for idiocy.

Translation; My guess is trumped up charges to show some force against the militia movements. You know, show them who's boss when the NWO comes rolling in.

Of course, I'm also getting the feeling that the Hutaree people weren't exactly the most disciplined and sane, of the militia groups either, so who knows?

The fundamental basis of the Huturee was to fight the anti-christ. The plan was to eventually induce a war against the government. A government run by what 24% of republicans think is the anti-christ.

Point taken. I guess it's not too far-fetched to think these people came up with that plan after all.

It's a shame, though. No doubt this'll reflect badly on the real and more, errr, mentally stable militias out there - and no doubt those who dislike the militia movements will use it as an excuse to crack down on them.

I have a feeling the steel is striking the flint right now, and it is only a matter of time before the sparks flying off the flint is going to cause something to start to flame up.

I think the FBI went in to take these people out and realized they weren't prepared for what they are really up against. They were prepared for this small group, but in the grand scheme of things they aren't prepared to take on one of the bigger Militias. They know it, we know it.

Time will tell, I have a feeling midterm elections are going to be awfully tense, that is if people can keep together long enough to actually see it that far. The media propaganda is everything, but effective at this point and the few people who it does work on are of no concern to anybody.

Well, the other local militia (south eastern michigan) apparently kept their distance from them and also refused to help them when it went down.

Fair enough. Just seems like a strangely out of place tactic for a US militia. Thats all. It might be true but I cant see how they would get very many people to take their side or back their cause with the killing of American innocents on American soil for the greater good of America. It would be a pretty askew view.

Obviously they got carried away buying and shooting guns and progressed into forming a "militia" and making bombs.
I do however hope they have some of the other middle east militia camps on the list to raid. If we are going to clean house lets not forget to get under the couch.

Groups with guns that want to take over are never good. I'm not interested in civil war in any way. Glad they got em.
