There is power in that name. Also evaluate your life, any sin will give them purchase in your life. That is their ticket in and where they find rest, repent and change your life to live more like Christ and they will flee from you. God Bless

"There is power IN that name."

The power in the name isn't saying the name. It's what the name means that is the key and that is an action, not an utterance. There are tons of people named Jesus. If a name was all you needed to fend off something, everyone would be named Jesus. You might as well say Abracadabra as that was the name being said before Jesus to ward off evil....but honestly, saying a name isn't going to help you other then a placebo effect because you believe it is helping you, which I guess in the end doesn't matter as long as you feel better.

Peace

Been there done that, I'm 63 years old, this is just the beginning. I started having this happen when I was 21.

When you feel yourself frozen, and you're conscious, just slow your breathing down and try to feel down thru your body until you can feel your feet. Just concentrate on your feet and breathe slowly, and you'll come back. Open your eyes slowly because you may feel like you're flipped the other way.

You may also be able to see the room, with your eyes closed, it's ok. A lot of people have this ability. You're not in any danger, nothing is going to happen. It's just a little unnerving and strange, but you'll begin to enjoy it.

Remember, you're ok. Nothing to worry about. If you feel a sense of panic and you do not want to go along with this, you just say "please stop" and that should end it.

"It would consist of dreams of normal things"

Yes, definitely. Thats happened to me several times, where I would dream of some everyday event, then it would happen maybe not the next day, but sometime soon. I would suddenly realize it was happening and I could accurately describe in detail, everything that was about to happen for a short time frame.

"Maybe, just maybe, you are sensitive to what has happened in the past or what may happen in the future and your mind just can't seem to put it tigether. Maybe it is one of your relatives climbing into a bed that used to be in the same room. Maybe it is someone going to sleep 50 years from now. "

I have often thought of this same idea. Just the other day, I was driving with my brother through an intersection and suddenly the thought came into my head that in an hour there would be a car accident. I felt compelled to say out loud, " I bet because of all this rain, in an hour when rush hour traffic starts there's going to be accidents." He agreed. I swear to you, an hour later, we were driving back down the same street but in a different direction, and as we were about to cross that same intersection we saw 3 cars hit each other. One flipped over, and one caught on fire! Im not making this up, it was like something out of a action movie that happened right in front of us. Thats when I remembered what had popped into my head, I looked at the clock and sure enough it was an hour later, almost to the exact minute! I didnt say anything first, my brother was the one who said "didnt you just say in an hour there was going to be accidents? Not just one, you said accident(s), thats so weird..."

Thanks so much for responding

Yes, that would make a lot of sense. But, what I find odd is that I had always thought that in cases like this it would slowly build up. I never felt a bad vibe in this house up until that moment, and I still feel safe here now. Is that just plain old cockiness/denial on my part? Or can things go from 0-10 in a moments notice, depending on the power of the entity? I mean its kind of creepy to imagine something watching me at all times, trying to find ways to scare me away, and maybe just that one night things were at a point where it could cross over temporarily and make me aware of it? Its crazy, when you really start to think about this kind off stuff, it makes you wonder how many paranormal events take place around us, but we are just to busy or focused on our daily tasks to notice.

I do appreciate the offer, I'll be sure you're the first to know if anything escalates further. Actually, Im kind of curious how you would go about "taking care" of something like this?

Was the entity speaking in latin or in spanish? Big difference, are you sure it was latin?

Thanks I'll keep that in mind. Actually I kind of know what you mean, when I used to see stuff when I was a kid, after a while I started pretending I didnt see them, or notice them, and would watch them out of the corner of my eye for a while. Usually when something realizes you see it, it flees..well at least in most of my cases.

I would teach you how to open a portal to remove the spirit from the Limbo realm it resides in, permenantly solving the problem. Its relatively simple to do, however it is important to first discover whether your dealing with an earthbound or a demon. As they have two completely different removal techniques. Just U2U me if you ever need any more advice or are wanting to get rid of it!

PS alot of times ghosts move on aswell- for a variety of reasons, so if you are noticing that the haunting has stopped, it might have! Give it a few months and if it hasnt returned you are likely free and clear

The 3am experience is very common among people who suffer from the first stages of poltergeist experiance or demonic possession.

The "being" arrives at 3am, the opposite of 3pm which is the time that christ allegedly died on the cross, to mock the fact...

Just a thought..

I would say one thing, you are screwed

the best thing would be to move if this really is happening or

you can try to put cameras everywhere in your house, I mean, maybe you can make a real paranormal activity and most of the ghosts are afraid of the cameras, so u know

it may work ... at least u feel more safe

I once woke up, and heard my mom downstairs doing something in the kitchen. Suddenly I hear her scream like crazy, and my heart starts pounding really fast, i get warm inside etc;.. (you know that feeling)

I get to the stairs and yell: "What is it!" she doesn't respond, again: "What is it MOM!" And she calmly says: "what?"

I come down and ask her if she screamed and she said she didn't. So suddenly I felt crazy because I know I heard this! And when i came down it must have seemed weird to my mom that i had asked her that!

When i think about it, it might have been, remnants from my dream or my dreamconciousness interfering with my waking life or something!

It's these kind of things that i sometimes think im nuts.

Yes, I know. Thats what I'm afraid of. The voice definitely seemed demonic, and the fact that it went outside leads me to believe its not a ghost. At least I have yet to hear of ghosts that haunt the inside AND outside of a house. Im sure its possible though. It just seemed so foreign to me.

My first thought was to set up some cameras like that movie. But, Im thinking that if it doesnt scare it away, like in that movie, it may make things much worse. I dont think I'd be as prone to possession, (Id like to think so anyway) my girl on the other hand.... since shes the religious one, I'd be so afraid of it going after her. I would never forgive myself.

I know the feeling

Sometimes, when Im having really crazy dreams I'll wake up in the middle of an emotion like fear, or anger, and it carries over into the real world. Ive even bruised myself fighting off an attacker in my dreams! Im sure we do carry over things and for a moment its hard for the brain to decipher between the two.
What happened to me was different though

In reply to the OP, I find it very interesting that you had this experience at 3am, as this is considered the demonic hour... it's an inversion of the trinty, as 3pm is considered a divine hour. In direct defiance to this, demons and such like will often make themselves known around 3am...

Hi guys; I am a new member. I found this site through a random Google search on what happened to me. Here is my story; I would love opinions!

When I was in 4th grade I was awoken to loud moaning (almost sexual) in the yard (I lived on the second floor of an apartment complex) -- as scared as I was I managed to fall asleep again. I was only asleep for a half hour until I heard knocking on my window (it was the the typical knocking sound they do in movies and cartoons). My shades were closed, thankfully, and I only saw a shadow that looked like a man -- remember this was the second floor, pretty high up. He (it) knocked some more and I was frozen with fear

...flash forward 9 years or so: I had a sleep over at my friends house; it was me, him and his gf -- we were in the basement. Before bed, I had the urge to look at the glass door -- low and behold and shadow starts walking by, all I could do was yell "no" and "look guys". They all saw it and were equally freaked out.

From there, I haven't had any physical experiences (thank God) but I see him in my dreams every now and then. Last night I had a side-shot of his face. All those dreams end in me screaming and borderline crying.

What do you guys think this? Thanks!

I recently made a small post of my experience. It was in a dream where I walked into an unknown home. There a found a woman looking out of a window and across the room was another woman. The woman across the room came over to me so quickly. Her eyes were fiery orange & red. she grabbed me forcefully pushed me down on a bed a started speaking in a language unknown to me which seemed to be some European or Latin. I then woke up. I went to check the time on my cell phone next to my bed and it was exactly 3:15 am

It sounds like a demonic spirit. You can tell by how the voice made you feel. Someone in the house or on that land invited it in at one point. You need to find out who opened the door to let it in...oujii board or something like that...get holy water...free from the back of any catholic church, prayers of exorcism and get it out of your house and your life. Hang up a crucifix too. The tv show paranormal state deals with hauntings like this all the time. Check it out. They are constantly calling the catholic priest to help exorcise these things all the time. Godspeed

I find your theory of the time being when we are meant to dream (meant to sleep) very fascinating and I kind of think that way...but...

Many years ago I had a strange experience on the way to work in the morning, where it seemed to me that I left home at 6am, traveled nearly 40 minutes by train and yet arrived just on 6am.

Its strange but I have had the same thing happen to me, where I look at the clock and its some time, then do something for an hour and its an EARLIER time on the same clock... obviously you think 'I must have misread' but I always felt like I clearly saw the time... in the same way other things I KNOW happened seemed to have 'changed'...

As in there was this one very particular event, sort of in relation. I was younger and walking down the hall and have an urge to look at the front foor, it is unlocked, I think 'my mom must have unlocked it as my dad is coming home from work soon' but look at the clock, and its hours off, so I go lock it. I turn around an only a few steps after THE DOOR OPENS. I did not hear any unlocking!! So I whip around freaked but relieved to see my sister home from college. First thing I say to her is 'how did you open the door' and sarcastically says 'I opened it'. "Did you unlock it?" "Nooo...it was unlocked".

I # bricks.

I have had unusual bouts of deja vu. This is the best term I have for it anyway...

And thats EXACTLY the same with me!! Even your wording, I never knew what to call, everyones always says 'deja vu feeling like youve been there before' but I never felt it, then one day someone told me my dreams coming true is the SAME as deja vu.

For me I would always dream of some place I had either NEVER been to before or had been, but had no reason/means of going at the time. The people in my dreams were unclear, I would always 'know' them yet not be able to tell who they were.

Its freaky as hell I have had it happen many times. Its like subconsciously predicting the future... I wonder if people like Nostradamus did it this way. After a few times I got used to the 'feeling' the dreams had, they kinda have a specific feeling, so now Im waiting to die while im 27 and for my house to be damaged this year...

Time is the really interesting factor. The 3am reference, though I am aware of the other meanings behind 3am, more about deadtime 3am

And then the number 3:33 also has a crazy significane for me, Im one of those people who had a bout of waking up 3 days in a row at 3:33 exactly and then started to have it happen everywhere, including in ways of no control, like issued numbers... it still happens and would be a thread of my own to say everything about it...

Have you ever thought of trying to communicate with the entity.
get yourself a tape recorder and try it.

EVP (electric voice phenomenom) is usually a good way to find out who you have living with you (and you cant see him).

If it is someone who was previously in your house you have a starting point.

ATTENTION - EVP all though it appears harmless can have a profound psychological effect.
I have several recordings i did using my blackberry.
Different voices, a kid, a german, all very clear.
Until i heard the voice of my father, who died 5 years ago.
I live in Spain and he died at home on England, so i know it wasnt a mistake when the voice clearly said my name..

For months after that i was a wreck, jumping at shadows.
