Hi, I'm an American. My country prides itself on its capitalism.

Ever been to Compton? South Detroit? hey, how about this one; Ever gone by the Lakota reservation, town of Rosebud? I tell you what man, take a drive through the roads between Mobile, AL and Bilouxi, MI. Or hey. How about Utah? The entire state. Red-blooded, conservative, tax-hating Americans out there. Ever been to Utah? Utah too Mormon for you? Try Alaska. ever been to Alaska? I used to live there, lots of proud red-blooded government-hating capitalists up there... living in shacks.

Hi, I'm an American. 40 million of my fellows are basically told "too bad, walk it off" if they discover a festering tumor under their tit. I'm an America, a member of the capitalist society that has the highest infant mortality rate in the "western World". I'm an American, where the top 1% could feed the entire bottom 30% and still never lose a 0 from their bank account numbers, and yet the 30% still hunger.

I'm an American, and I live the American dream. I dream that someday I will manage to "get rich" and be part of that top 1% stepping over the 30%. because that's what my great country is all about; We're capitalists, after all.

Capitalism is a system whereby the many are impoverished for the wealth of a few. At its most basic it's a ponzi scheme, with many many people paying directly into the bank accounts of a very, very few, and never seeing a return for their work and investment.

You could do well to educate yourself about the diverse economic systems; the depth of your knowledge of even your favored one seems to be limited to "it's the best because I like it because it's the best because someone told me so!"

It certainly is not Communism. I didn't see where you lived under Communism and were all warm and cuddly about it.

Why can't you people understand both socialism and capitalism have corruption in them.Socialism is a far more serious danger and a threat for facism to grow in the government level and for a dictatorship to take over and possibly just start killing everyone who opposes them.Why because they will have the power to do so by declaring crazy lunatic radical laws and declaring they must obey anything they are told or they will be marched to death camps and prison.This stuff goes on in North Korea,Went on In Germany under Hitler.Soviet Union under Stalin,China under Mao Zetong.They simply kill you if you do not fit their version of a good citizen,dispicaple hatred and bigotry.Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez both believe in Socialized dictatorship.So far they never became like Hitler.This danger exist in any country that tries to oppose other views with the government becoming to powerful.

How many millions of you have no homes to go to...how many millions of you are really poor...how many millions of you are begging of the streets for food...how many millions of you are not entitled to decent sickcare...how many millions of you have no jobs because the corps moving the factory's to cheaper countries to make more money...how many millions of you dont get a decent education because theres not any profit for the corps if you get smarter...the list could go on and on...But there you have it, the ugly face of ultra capitalism of USA.

I am American by birth. And if you can prove to me that more of your tax dollars went to developing nations than mine has, we might have something to talk about.

Well im an genuine swede since many generations...and we have a big difference from you, we don´t measure success or great personality with money, we have other values and maby thats why we Scandinavians feel that we are better than the americans...i have one thinking nut for you... if you took better care of your less lucky citizens, so that they did not have to become criminals, you help them back in track so they maby can start a new company and maby even hire some people...then you have less crimes on the streets and your policeforce was smaller and cheaper, you didnt have to had so many prisons, which save you even more money...this my friend is Scandinavian logic...

There are plenty of Americans that hate America and do whatever it takes to take it down by electing idots to represent them. The “tax dollars sent overseas” presumably as aid is a fallacious argument because most of it is spent to buy influence with certain governments. During the cold war it was used to build various bulwarks against communism and is still to this day against American competitors like china. Did you honestly believe that it was a coincidence that the same countries like also had significant trading relationships supplying raw and semi processed materials to America?

I do not believe that americans actually hate america. They pay their taxes and reserve the right to be critical of the state that they live in. It is the downside of any democracy.

I have no problems with Swedish folks. I know little about them and their ideologies. Americans say that in a nut shell it is like this.

The leftist impulse has been to re-distribute wealth, but this gesture is incapable of finding a higher value than that wealth. Yes and what about the american socialist worker's party. There is also An American Communist party. None of them have made america Socialst. All that we have seen is the slightest hint of a possible leftward shift on things lke health benefits and the hysterical braying has begun.

I hear talk about the individual but most individuals do not own the means of production there are only camp followers of capitalism.

So you have a few $K dollars saved up and a few sharesif you loose your job or your "mom and pop" store how long can you survive without another job 1month? 1 Year?

What happens after that?
