Sorry, I don't put much stock in the old testament.

Genesis tells the story of the twins Jacob and Esau. To me it's just stories from the dawn of recorded history. These are mainly from the old Jewish histories.

Edom, in the land of southern Jordan is listed also in Genesis and the decedents of Esau are listed. Edom denies Israel passage through their lands during the Exodus. (Naturally, then the people of Edom are evil)

Within any given group of people, no matter how you classify them, you will have good people and bad people. Will God punish the entire group for the sins of the "bad" ones? If that is true, then everyone will be punished because every group, no matter how you group them (Christians, Muslims, white black, yellow) there are some in the group who've done bad.

A few points...

(a) Didn't we all come from Africa ?

(b) If "tribal" music is only in the blood, and you need to understand the culture to " get it " HOW DID THEY GET SO GOOD ?

(c) You could argue that "invention" and "technology" is a white mans culture. It certainly is not African. So make them do their dancing with no white mans inventions. No stage, no electricity, no cars, no sponsorship etc..... Just a lump of dirt in the middle of know-where and see who turns up for the prize of a dead pig.

Because under this logic, we should not allow white, yellow, or black people to enter any Cinco de Mayo competitions or contests ever because it belongs uniquely to brown people. Similarly, we should not allow any white, black or brown people to ever partake in any Chinese New Years festivals (which are a blast and have lots of great food) because that belongs uniquely to yellow people. You can extrapolate from there. I think there is a term for fear of intermingling cultures, but it is an ugly word and one I hope that you do not truly believe in.
