I know, man. Sometimes I just wish people weren't so close minded regarding things like this. It's hard not to feel angry or upset at this, but you are correct. He is contributing nothing to this discussion except MORE racism and banter. He should just simply be reported as he has no real interest in the topic at hand, rather, just simply causing problems.

I am probably blacker than you and have lived in the Carribean and the UK! I am probably more genotypicaly black than you as most black americans seem to have more white racial markers than those from the carribean.

There are white folks in this discussion complaining that they don't get the same protection or recognition as minorities, when they don't seem to realise they have the distinct advantage of not being a minority. That's my point. It's common in white western cultures to get people like that. They want to celebrate their whiteness like minorities celebrate their cultures, when they don't realise what it's like to be a minority, and how their celebrations are to do with their status as minorities, and not their supremacy.

It's just the same racist nonsense spewed out by right-wing groups the right over, where they purportedly champion the rights of the majority race, by claiming persecution at the hands of minorities. Hitler did it. Mugabe is doing it. The BNP does it. US skinheads do it.

I'm Scottish, and my grandparents came here from Scotland 25 years ago. How is it that, in your eyes, I am the "white devil"? Neither myself, nor any of my relatives had anything to do with slavery, but I still deserve to pay simply because i'm white. Sounds like there is just alot of anger being thrown at anything that you see.

Whoa! Well we seem to be celebrating white history every month. If you want white history month well OK. Frankly american education is actually rather bad so perhaps we should scrap all history months and concentrate on laying the grounds for your future knowledge-based economy.

Why not have maths month or even Science month??
