Super volcano Toba

Almost eradicated mankind at 73.0000 years ago and those who managed to survive (small pockets in Africa) are said to be those whom we all descended from (based on DNA samples) taken around the world.

Interesting.

Though I strongly believe in the power of the earth and it's volcanoes, the one thing I have realized in my short 43 years on this rock is the scientists don't really have a solid grasp of our history or our potential future. The what is thought of as facts seem to change from year to year.

I found this the other day. I forgot where I found the link.

Its very interesting, to say the least.

This fellow rolls an abundance of conspiracy theories together, it would make a fantastic movie....2012 anyone?

Below is a 13 part series. Its a good watch, but kinda hard to swallow.

www.youtube.com...

Heres the guys website with all his research, no narration.

the-rabbits-hole.com...

I apologize if this has been linked before.

I thought people here would enjoy the links.

You make a good point. One of the most famous examples for instance is people thinking the world is flat.

But every year they change something that is supposeably fact. Makes it hard to know what to even attempt to believe.

I would not doudt it. I hate the cold so it would be my luck for the weather to turn cold and stay.

I believe that people need to go back to basic animal instincts if you are hoping to prepare for whatever may happen in 2012, whether that is iceage effects, who knows.
I agree that people no longer know how to do things manually, as we all, or most of us rely on machinery to microwave food, wash our clothes etc. I dont agree that technology is the best way forward on its own, I dont know about you lot, but one gust of wind and my power goes off all night (rural location). Its worth investing in a wood burning or camping stove if you are hoping to survive, growing your own food is good and try recycling all you can, like turning old newspapers into fire bricks that can be used to heat the house. It was good enough during the war, we just need to practice!

i also feel that the days have been getting colder, which is ironic. either there is no global warming and quite the opposite or there is (but i dont think its man made, as the other planets are also warming) and its creating this cooldown effect?..
