The only people who notice changes are people who have experienced timline changes. Everyone else who thinks Africa hasnt moved are just people whove never changed timelines.

Other than sharing 'OMG continents have moved' stories, its impossible for anyone to agree what has changed and when, because its different for everyone. even people who have experienced timeline shifts will have experienced different shifts from different timelines.

And people ask why we care? Maybe its coz we are in a situation where anyone can say anything, and not be open to question, because hey man....you didnt come from my old timeline...how can you know!

If i said to someone here that they were morons in my old timeline, would they just suck it up? Afterall, they couldnt disprove it.

I mentioned this in another thing...which is baffling me constantly...Anyone remember the bold part?

Another interesting observation of this "new" google maps.

I remember vividly being taught in school, how the earth has approximately 2/3rd of it's surface filled with water and 1/3rd with land.

This "new" maps (well, new to me, no doubt) has more like 60:40 distribution (60% Land; and 40% water.... ). Anybody noticed it? (To get an idea, imagine to push all landmass from the north to the south near Antarctica...and you will see that it crosses the midpoint drawn in the map)

What the heck is going on? Yes, and I too remember Australia being in-the-middle-of-nowhere....New Zealand being the only closest country to it.

To an earlier poster The pillars of Hercules are the two land masses or mountains one in Africa and one in Gibralta on each side of the straits of Gibralta. But what does a recollection of the pillars of Hercules have to do with this thread other than one person recollects Africa being in a different position but has no recall of the Pillars of Hercules.

As far as I am aware the earth is still two thirds covered in water.

As some one made mention in an earlier post they believe that an alteration in a time line would have huge consequences and alter many historical events much like a butterflies wings.

However that might not be necessarily so, what if when you shift you may be retain memories of a few things which were different from the time line you came from but your memories are on the whole that of the person who experienced this time line. Therefore your knowledge of events and histories would fit in with this time line with maybe a few exceptions.

People have asked why not say any thing sooner but for most people they were probably not aware that their time line had shifted until something is brought to their attention. Rather like when a few of us believed Nelson Mandella had died a long time ago. That sort of thing you would put down to a bad memory.

However the shifting of a land mass is rather harder to blame on a bad memory or the lack of ability with a map particularly when you believe you have had a reasonable education and a good memory.

If it wasn't for the fact that a number of other people had come forward and confirmed they too had experienced the same effect if would be very easy to dismiss it for any of the above reasons. However so many people having similar experiences leads one to suspect that there is something else happening.

As for people calling this a hoax thread please consider that even though posters do not use their real names, why would some one to post such a seemingly rediculous assertion and be held up to public ridicule, unless they really believed in what they were saying.

I live in Australia and my Fiance' which i have been with for 6 years is from New Zealand.

Dont you think either of us or anyone in Australia or NZ for that matter would have noticed something odd.

FYI Australia has always had the pointed tip at the northern point. It's well know as it is the most northern point of Australia. Also Native New Zealanders have a genetic similarity to all the island of theat region: Fiji, Samoa, Cook Islands, Tonga etc etc. Also they all seem to migrate here to the East coast of Aus, mainly Melbourne as the east coast has always been the closest, shortest and cheapest trip for them. If they had been in the west coast and some point there would be a high number in Perth as well.

Come on guys this thread is really knida silly. I tell you what if someone can show me a genuine map backing up your claims then i might sit up and take notice.

Nelson Mandella is alive and has always been. I think you may have him confused or been misinformed in the past.

What you are all saying is that of all the worlds population the US is the only affected country, that seems kinda unllikely.

This map totally explains the confusion. It's all about how the map is layed out. New Zealand is showed on the West coast here but only to enlarge the islands on NZ on a clear area of the map.

I hope this helps explain the confusion. Notice the box around NZ. It has only been moved there due to the layout of the map. There are many like it in older atlas'

yeah, apparently....

I even watched some new movie a few weeks back about this rugby team he helped out etc....

I remember NZ being North East of Australia in my timeline, along with Australia being surrounded by water and away from everything.
Also, I remember Nelson Mandela being assassinated as well.
I spent some time studying Lord Howe Island, Ball's Pyramid, and the shipwreck of the Wolf, along with the Wolf Rock. (I'm planning an expedition in the future to search for the Wolf Shipwreck.)

I'm curious how this timeline shift theory works...
