Did Iran Just Test a Nuke?

Yes Iran has Nukes and Yes they tested one today.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Feb. 11 would mark the demise of “the liberal capitalist system,” adding that its champion, America, was on the decline and that Iran and its Islamic Revolution were on the rise. According to a Jan. 28 translation from BBC Monitoring Middle East, Ahmadinejad spoke on official Iranian television, saying that this year’s “Ten Days of Dawn” celebration, marking the anniversary of the country’s Islamic Revolution, would see the “demise” of the American system. “I believe that 22 Bahman [ February 11 in the Persian calendar] this year marks the demise of the liberal capitalist system.” Ahmadinejad said. The controversial Iranian president explained that, 30 years ago, Iran was merely trying to consolidate its newly minted revolution. Today, however, the country was quickly moving to overtake what he claimed was a declining United States. “Maybe in 1359-60 [1980-81] our presence was only an announcement of our existence and strength,” he said. “It was to consolidate the revolution. Where have we got now? We have got to a point that the hegemony of arrogance [reference to the United States] has been undermined. Nations do not trust it anymore. Its principles are under question. Its efficiency is close to zero. Its power curve is dropping quickly.”

If it really happened it would be on all the network TV stations. And I haven't seen one peep about it yet. The networks plastered the event when N. Korea detonated there nukes 2 years ago. Only thing on TV now is the snow storm, pres. clintons heart problems, and the market went up over 100 points today.

One other thing, ::grins:: down here "on the beach" were supposed to get up to 3" of snow tomorrow. Some might think thats nothing except where I am it hasn't snowed here since the 1960's. Global warming my backside..

As for announcing their new status, that may of had a double, thus, cover meaning. So in effect, there gets a huge discussion started.

I for one, believe they totally have the right. If your rowdy, proven belligerent neighbor has a gun, wouldn't it be wise for you to have a gun also. --Unless you are a bleeding-heart liberal, that is.

All earthquakes since the beginning of time were due to plate tectonics....until HAARP, oil drilling and nukes....then mother nature relinquished the ability to cause earthquakes to TPTB that control those three

All the flags and stars shows how ignorant ATS truly is. Iran only recently asked its doctors to enrich by 20%.

If you guys did your homework you would know that Iran needs 80 to 90 percent to create any form of nuclear weapon, Paranoid bunch of people aren't ya.

There was alot of evidence that NK was planning to create nuclear weapons, but there was and is no evidence that Iran is pursuing that path. Infact it doesn't need to, NK hasn't gained anything by having nuclear weapons, it is still sanctioned.

For idiots who still believe IRan is pursuing nuclear weapon, wakeup and smell your breath, it smells like BS.
