Rose McGown was already a beauty. I still don't understand why she'd want to do anything to herself. I mean, she didn't do much, but still....Sigh. I just think all of these people have major psychological issues.

Damn, after those bad surgeries... i bet they thought their real selves didn't look bad at all.

Lesson learned.

The most disturbing part - IMO - is people wishing to all look the same.
It has to be that small nose.
Those big fat lips.
The chin just so.

What ever happened to people feeling special - because they're unique?

I guess self worth got tossed out when Barbie and Ken made their debut.

So sad.

Take that another step... What's wrong with being old? Looking your age?

We used to revere our elders. Look up to them. Want to be like them. Now? We can't wait for voluntary euthanasia to come about.

But that's another subject.

peace

Agree with plastic surgery?

No, because it's mainly people with other issues who are mainly getting these procedures done....

A good 40 % are just not bright people...

So I wouldn't worry about it effecting a huge portion of humanity...

The smarter people know that these people look ridiculous ...

For every 1 really good procedure that is justified there are 100 that are pointless and actually make the person look worse...

random : Ashly simpson ( Jessica's sister ) got a nose job and She is actually a lot more good looking now just from a simple nose job to make it look like her sisters...

That i'm ok with..........she didn't go overboard and it looks like a natural nose....

What that heidi montag weirdo did lately was just dumb..

But if you've ever watched the hills for even 2 min you can take 2 things from it...

!.) Heidi montag is the of America's dumbest people...

2.) that spencer douche is crazy dillusional...He is a control freak, a manipulator, arrogant and he spins falsehoods into truths..

Those 2 together represent what is wrong with America..

The manipulating truth spinning control freak rich people are leading the Dumb American's to do stupid things...

They are playing a role and represent a bigger picture or portion of the plan..

That is what Hollywood is really about..

But sorry to take this a lil off topic...

But yea this cosmetics craze is just 1 of many things wrong with our country ..

A good 40%?
Try doubling that number. A good 80% of people don't even think.

40% ??? 80% ?? ..... I'm gonna go with 98.7%

I think the main reason most people havent gotten plastic surgery is due to its high prices, in the future it will be much more affordable and more competetive.

some people are already going to Mexico or Thailand to get procedures done.

giving rise to self taught plastic surgeons who make house calls, ... which I will explore further in my next post.

I think superficiality and vanity are major threats to society, because they all lend to a certain apathy and inequality, unacceptance and/ or prejudice. This is what breeds bully kids at schools who make fun of the "nerds"...this nose jobs stuff makes other to see certain ethic groups as less beautiful for their fuller noses. Its sick, it has to stop. Its going to be the downfall of civilization. So many people who need surgery can't afford it, and why are doctors wasting their time and expertise on this crap??? Why. Its a sin. If people can't find inner beauty, how can they expect to find inner peace, end of war and suffering? They are too busy being selfish and zombie like, obedient to a different cause, a cause of bizarre, insane self-obsession. We need more creativity and uniquness, and we need to respect our elders and not make wrinkles to be considered a curse. There is beauty in wrinkles even, but peoples eyes are closed. They want to all look the same. Not even young, but plastic and fake. Boring.

True. Unfortunately, we live in a world where people are sick. Literally. We put more value on appearances than we do ethics, morality or anything else.

Don't worry, most of those who value superficial things will soon be gone. Until then, all the rest of us can do is maintain.

very well said my young ruby.

New noses and breasts are simply substitutions for a faulty sense of self worth.

one must turn inwards to discover their self esteem. because without that they will always attempt to replace it with drugs, alcohol, strange behavior, and if they can afford it, ... plastic surgery.

we must understand as a species, we are not the clothes we wear, the car we drive, ... the face looking at us in the mirror, .....we are so much more, and it is a shame to lose that.

When I see those stars with their ballooned lips and cheek implants or chin implants, it reminds me of that "Escape From LA" movie where those group of skin freaks were hunting people down for their skin...

They look silly, and ugly. What worries me, is some people will consider this the norm soon. I mean, for MANY women these days, getting a boob-job is a rite-of-passage thing.. Fake breasts are ugly, and don't look good. All Natural in my book.

G'day IntastellaBurst

Here's a question for you.....

Someone runs a lot & pushes a lot weights in the gym.

They do that for their health, but also for their "physique".

Is that "artificial"?

Kind regards
Maybe...maybe not

Worked with a guy who had a southern accent and he was a good old boy.

He asked me why I didn't get my teeth fixed?

One is broken on the end from a accident when I was young.

I told him it didn't bother me and I was not that vain about my appearance to spend money on something so frivolous.

I asked him if his perfectly straight, white teeth were his?

They were dentures.

One day he comes in wearing "coke bottle bottom" thick glasses because he had an infection from his blue colored contacts he wore.

Then I found out he wore 2 inch lifts and was a graduate of the "Hair Club for men.

He was so fake I am not even sure now that he was from Arkansas.

Most people do these things because they have low self esteem.

Sadly afterwords they still do.

A doctor told me that that is a mental condition that is similar to bulimia and anorexia.

Body builders and weight lifters long distance runners all do it because they are unhappy with the way their body looks.

It has nothing to do with being healthy.

Anything done to the extreme.

Good question, ... however I don't see bodybuilding as being artifical. Unless they use steroids, which is done by almost every single top bodybuilder.

Even then, they bust their azzes day in and day out, ...... however even they are susceptable to using plastic surgery to increase their size.

I have hears reports of them injecting silicone into their calves and biceps as well as other areas.

I have had braces.... I suppose that could be considered cosmetic surgery.
