If you have ever seen an episode of Housewives of Orange County, I'm sure you have seen these, wide eyed, cat like, expressionless faces due to botox and silicone.

Ridiculously large breast implants, nose jobs, butt lifts, penile enlargements, .... although some of these procedures may seem justified, how many of them are actualy neccesary ?? Heidi Montag has openly had at least 10 surgery's, she's 23 years old !!

... and what happens when patients are only limited by their bank accounts ?? With all of these breakthrough's in plastic surgery and the quest for immortality will humanity become a sick characture of itself ???

Here are three prime examples:

Korean woman Hang Mioku was so addicted to cosmetic surgery that she is now unrecognisable after injecting cooking oil into her face.
www.millionface.com...

I am now re-thinking posting the second example, as I would not want to get into trouble for it. It is a video of a man who spent 6 years injecting silicone into his penis which is now unrecognizable. I found it by simply googling " silicone penis 6 years"

I wonder, if these things are already happening this soon into the " plastic surgery era" what will humanity look like in 50, 100 years ??

What are your thoughts and opinions on this ?? also if you have any other examples of extreme, or plastic surgery gone wrong PLEASE post.

Meh...back in the day, wearing makeup was considered horrible, looking like witches, demons, etc...painted faces...

alternative surgery is just the next logical step in altering appearances...and what comes next will be also seen as a bad thing...unless of course you see it as a good thing.

Imagine in a thousand years what humans will be doing for show and personal desire...humanity will with time and technology become half people, half art pieces of new and unusual features...hell, nevermind a thousand years..might be 100 or less.

I think we are already freaks.
Look at people covered head to toe in ink to people who can't seem to pull their pants up.
Vanity has already gotten out of hand.

I think its really sick, this trend to change who we are.

Imagine a young man marrying his sweetheart, and when the baby is born, its features are nothing like his wife's, and it is then he discovers he married a FrankenBride!

In a hundred years I doubt there will be recognizable humans any longer, as I believe human flesh and technology will one day combine into new types of humans.

I work at a high class club, and I am in my forties, no plastic surgery ever. Some of the ladies I see are younger than me, and the obvious plastic surgery is hideous. It makes them look desperate.

I told one lady my age and she looked at me funny and walked away. (I found out later she was several years younger than me and already aging poorly close up).

I have only seen ONE plastic person who looked fabulous close up. Even then I could detect the plastic.

I think some of it is insecure women thinking the only way to be valuable to a man is through beauty. Or looking perfect.

If thats what it takes to snag a man, I will gladly remain single.

So shallow.

The cost of insane social etiquettes, conformity and correctness is shown in how the Western nations are increasingly reporting more and more cases of nervous break-downs and burn-outs. It doesn't take a genius to see that it has a lot to do with self-confidence.

The following case is one of the most severe plastic surgery addictions I have run across. Her name is Jocelyn Wildestein.

This woman went to a lot of extremes for her vanity. What a shame, she was pretty to start with!

So sad that people are so in love with their flesh.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and outer beauty fades with age. Immortality in this body on this world is vastly overrated. I would prefer to be remembered for my inner beauty and immortalized through memory by family and friends.

Oh yes, this is true....a few years ago on Ripley's Believe it or Not I saw a man who was tattooing his body, and doing other strange stuff, and becoming an alligator, another was turning himself into a jungle cat. Some will do anything to change their appearance, never realizing that they are actually a Spirit of a Higher Order, and that they simply live in the human body they try so hard to change.

Plastic surgery, is in my opinion, one of the worst things that mankind has come up with.

People change their appearance to set a new "trend", wanting to become the centre of attention, unnecessary changing the way they they look for petty wants or for how society perceives them.

Recently a girl in my year has changed her nose because she thought it was a bit crooked. To be honest, I see no difference if she did not carry it out.

The Gods made us like this specifically and I do not believe that we have the right to change this.

If someone wants to get their nose broken with a hammer then reshaped, cut up to enhance their appearance or get ass fat injected into their lips or whatever the hell they do these days then go ahead. More power to them. But what we must realise is that no matter what crap woman and men like to say about physical appearance not meaning much..is that it is a blatant lie. Hence people get such procedures. Becoming addicted to them is a different matter entirely imo and nothing to do with trying to please other people by being more attractive. And you can argue all you want, but beautiful people are admired more from the getgo than your average looking person.

I don't have a problem with plastic surgery. It's great if you've been in an accident and they can help you get fixed up.

It's also good for some people who are deformed.

I start to have problems with people that think they need surgery but they already look fine.

That seems to be a psychological problem.

Rhinoplasty is popular in Iran among young women, who want to do away with the atypical Persian nose in exchange for western ideals of beauty (smaller nose) which is unfortunate, since they look beautiful anyway.

Unatural beauty is just that. And it is also unsustainable without upkeep, further surgery. IMO the whole thing is a sickness. Plastic surgery should be used only to correct that which nature didn't complete, like children born with cleft mouths, ect. And to help burn and injured patients.

In Korea and some Asian country's it is popular to get their eyes widened to appear more western.

... and one of my favorite cases from Ripley's was the Tiger guy, he tattoo'd his face and head, got his lip cut to resemble a tiger's, wore eye contact's, grew out his nails, had his teeth filed to become fangs, and then had whiskers installed into his upper lip which he could screw out.

... and even after all that, I didn't see a Tiger, ... I saw an overweight, bald guy in a Nascar shirt who wasn't comfortable with himself. A guy so disatisfied with himself he tried to cover it up completely.

These people don't need plastic surgeons, but therapists.

Referring to someone's statement above, to change facial features to try look like a another ethnicity has always freaked me out.

I personally love how diverse and different all humans look. It makes it exciting to go out into the world and see what there is to see. If everyone has plastic surgery, everyone will look the same. That's terrible.

I know what I'm trying to put into words, but I can't seem to do it. Please tell me if this made sense.

All of this boils down to not being satisfied with what you have. People who are constantly having augmentations done to themself are never going to be content. There is always going to be that "There is something wrong with me," mentality.

To me, most of these people suffer from some sort of mental disorder. That is saying something coming from some one who is bi-polar as hell!!
However, it's quite obvious that these people have some serious personal issues.

Maltz found that his plastic surgery patients often had expectations that were not satisfied by the surgery, so he pursued a means of helping them set the goal of a positive outcome through visualization of that positive outcome.[3] Maltz became interested in why setting goals works. He learned that the power of self-affirmation and mental visualisation techniques used the connection between the mind and the body. He specified techniques to develop a positive inner goal as a means of developing a positive outer goal. This concentration on inner attitudes is essential to his approach, as a person's outer success can never rise above the one visualized internally.[1]

Psychos

These people are sick. I mean, there isn't going to ever be any way to satisfy them. Until they learn to accept themself, they will never be whole and constantly searching.

I'm trying to figure out who or what the hell she is trying to look like!! Good God!! Her head looks like a freaking balloon!! I truly do believe, from the bottom of my heart, that people who engage in all of these augmentations are sick and completely #ed in the head. I really do.
