Check this out, seems like it would work... Would be too complex to build on my own, but its avaiable in a DIY kit that has been released by John Bedini and Rick Fredrich!

Response to get this into my favorites. The websites and photos look legit. I don't believe in "free" energy, but I certainly believe in much more efficient energy and I am working toward being off-grid.

I will check back later after the "debunkers" have their say and I can sift through the pros and cons, lol!

Starred and flagged with pleasure. What a great topic to bring to ATS!

If we all switched to this form of power for our homes, we could not only prevent huge amounts of polution but we'd all save a tonne of cash each year too.

As for the polution aspect, I do not for one minute believe man is responsible for global warming, but do feel that we should reduce our impact on natural environments as much as is possible...

Free energy for all, is a great idea, but the question we need to ask, is how soon before these guys are "attacked" in their homes, like Stan Meyer, or before they commit suicide? After all, they are threatening the oil and fossil fuel industries with this technology.

After reading through the second website, it seems that the ability to produce energy isn't quite as free as I first thought.

It would seem that one has to spend hundreds of dollars buying components, and then spend hours upon hours experimenting with the system. What we all need is someone to come up with an inexpensive way of producing a machine on the cheap, that anyone can build, and use to power their home, etc.

Roll on that day.

Cheap and easy would be nice! This could be a step in the right direction tho. If I had an electric car I would defineately have one these in it or maybe some smaller ones would work better for it.

Very nice find, thanks! S+F

It's excellent that Bedini has open-sourced that design and I'm excited to see what kind of results this gets.

Now all Bedini has to do is get his device to actually work! Maybe in 50 years time he may be nearly there getting overunity!

We'll see how well it works.

Well, the first thing I noticed at potentialtec.com is that they are overpriced. The first transistor they offer, the 2N3440, is priced at $2 plus shipping, or $4 shipping included. It is available at Mouser Electronics for 82 cents. The second one, the MPS8599, is sold for 50 cents without shipping, or $3.00 shipped. The same thing is available at Mouser Electronics for 19 cents.

Someone is making some serious profit here!

I also noticed that the 'circuit board' they offer is a mock-up of the old electronic "100-in-1" kits that use springs as contact points. In the first place, those springs are notorious for making poor connections, and in the second place, the circuitry can be ripped apart easily. Wouldn't it be easier to sell a completed circuit board, or at least an etched board ready to have parts soldered on? That would give a reliable product, and is the norm in any type of electronic kit that is intended to stay together.

Sorry, all, but as much as I want to believe in Bedini's design, this site only makes me more skeptical. If someone wants to make one and show me it works, fine, but until then I personally would be very concerned about wasting my money on a scam here.

Free energy ?

Let's see :

1) Almost works - just needs a litte "tuning" - check !
2) "Cheap" electronic sold at overprice - check !
3) "Cheap" instruction manuals that you should buy - check !

- If this guy has free energy solved why does he waste his time selling eletronics and manuals ? His time and money would be better spent building machines and connecting them to the grid, after all they would be pure money making machines ...

The only free thing here is his grin while going to bank to collect your money

from that link"Mr Bedini then made a rather startling claim: There is NO free electricity produced in these systems, or any other system that I know of. "

So exactly as expected, it does not do what is claimed.

Case certainly is closed!

If they're selling something that works, they deserve to make a bit of profit from it, don't they?

We've talked about this before. I would be willing to pay for the kits but I would want at least four different builders building one. Make it an official ATS science project

okay..guy

this is a scam. go ahead and waste your money, but the two posts above you (one being mine) points out that this is a scam. I encourage you to check out the link that I posted, and see for yourself.

If there is one thing I hate, it is scam artists.

How do you know it's a scam?

For Friedrich and Bedini to sell $4000 kits that don't work, that would be a pretty dumb move don't you think? Why would they risk fraud charges?

Absolutely! But they aren't profiting from their plans or from completed units; they are instead marking up standard components by a factor of 5 or more.

I would be much more impressed if they simply sold plans for their unit at a high price, but nowhere did I see that option. I saw only assortments of parts, individual components, and complete kits.

It would be interesting to say the least. Of course, I would be happy to build one as time/money allows. I am not willing to shell out the bucks for a kit myself however, without some additional information that helps convince me it isn't a white elephant.

All in all, that is what worries me about this. It seems to me that they are betting that anyone who builds one won't be savvy enough in the technical aspects to uncover a fraud, because anyone with such savvy wouldn't be willing to put out that type of cash. The only way to get the info to properly vet the design is to order a bunch of extraneous items as a package deal.

I could be wrong, of course, but that is the way I am seeing it at this time.

i'm heavy into zero energy science and this one looks bad...no specs on theory or watts. we need to hear about watts on these deals

They have hundreds of people building these and vetting the design.

He says in the video that they have already had hundreds of requests from people who want to build the 10-coil design so that's why they chose to release it as a kit for builders.

I'm sure if there were anything fraudulent about this it would be discovered quickly enough.

He says in the video...

That is the key... He says...

I would expect the number of interested people to be more in the millions at least if this was a proven design. hundreds can be fooled; millions would be more difficult.

Again, the device is patented, so it cannot be reproduced for commercial exploit without Bedini's authorization... why not publish the plans? Why not go into production of units, either by Bedini himself or by authorized manufacturers? There is a veritable fortune available for anyone who successfully creates 'free' energy, and yet he is making money by overcharging for components and selling kits using welding rods for a core material? It simply doesn't make business sense.

After you buy this kit you can use it to power my time machine kit. It is only $29.95 and it works great. It looks just like a piece of rope and some clothespins but it is very high tech.
