Oh I can't wait to hear all the people who are going to blame America for putting those items there.
Meanwhile, looks like Iran has set in motion it's goal. This should get interesting. Hope everyone is prepared.

Experts see no ‘smoking gun’ for Iran election fraud

Iran elections: Much ado about nothing?

Anyway, on topic;

I think Iran may probably table a report about human right abuses by USA & Israel and ask U.N to take action. If I remember correctly sometime (months) ago there was news that Iran has launched a probe regarding this. It was also posted on ATS.

The word 'arrogance' is important here. As West usually condemns Iran for human right violations and if Ahemjidinad actually wanted to hurt the 'arrogance', what better way to do it than use the same weapon against USA.

Prepare for propaganda and more saber rattling, chest beating, religious rhetoric, unsubstantiated claims, baseless allegations, vague convoluted threats, and a word or two from Allah.

Throwing out a idea.

"We have developed Nukes."

Bring your warships if you want

[edit on 31-1-2010 by Sean48]

if they do that then they are really retarded... Besides, when succesfully, (first target most likely israel. usa will be difficult i think..) and the unfortunate casualties... It results in Iran being wiped off the map I guess...

Just the same emergency plans as always. Like for a hurricane. Prepare for 3 weeks without services.

I have heard some RUMORS, only rumors, that Obama wanted 1 million troops ready for a civil war by January 30th. Just a rumor. I have nothing but pro-rumor sites to back it up.

But in the same rumor, I have heard Obama "expects" a civil war before the end of winter. Spring begins March 20th unless you honestly believe in groundhog science. In that case, groundhog day is February 2nd. (no movie references please) So, according to groundhog science, spring may or may not begin 6 weeks later.

I have also heard (same rumor) the date of February 10th. If Iran plans something on the 11th, it makes sense we would pre-empt him on the 10th.

So what of the civil war? I could see an American uprising if the US smacks another country. Or I could see a civil war in Iran.

More likely, the 11th will come and the short one of Iran will make due on his threat by threatening to make due on another threat on another day. (yawn)

Iran has the power to smack Israel. And Israel has the power to return the favor. So really, what's the point?

Iran, bigger in land mass and in population, only managed to fight Iraq to a tie in a 10 year war.

The US did more damage to Iraq in first 100 hours of the first gulf war then Iraq and Iran did to each other combined in ten years.

But that doesn't mean Iran is just going to lay down and take it either. You think Iranian terrorists are motivated now? Try taking the war to their front door.

This is a very dangerous thing to speculate about. Does Iran REALLY.....SERIOUSLY want war with the west. And does the west really, seriously want war with Iran?

Even if Iran builds a nuke, they know what will happen to them if they use. Same for Israel.

Don't misunderstand me. I am NOT making a prediction. According to internet predictions, WWIII is supposed to start today, tomorrow, the day after that, ect. until it actually does. Then some lucky, random knuckle head with the winning guess will cheer that he called it right. Then he will disappear inside a large, red, fiery, mushroom cloud, never to log on again.

The 10th, 11th, and 12th will be here soon enough. On the 13th, we will resume normal programming, never holding our breath for these dates to pass.

At the absolute most, Iran will chant, "Death death, USA" and other moronic phrases. They might burn the American flag and pictures of Obama and previous Presidents.

(~yawn~)

And then the short one of Iran will make another big, scary prediction for another date in which he will do something very similar.

More hollow threats by the great hollow one of the middle east.

To all in the west and in Iran who want their respective nations to smack the other opponent down, be very careful what you wish for.

For decades, the terrorists chanted for war against America. Ever since they got the war they always wanted, they have been demanding we go home.

Make up your mind terrorists. Which lie is it?

Again, be careful what you wish for. You might get it.

Just ask the leader of Libya. He hasn't mentioned his line of death since the US moved it right into his house.

Don't get me wrong. I don't mean to suggest the US will cake walk the middle east. If that were the case, this war would have been over many, many years ago.

But the US (with allot of help) beat the Germans, Japanese, and Italians combined in about 4 years. I find it hard to believe the terrorists are meaner and tougher then the Axis powers from WWII.

What a very fake war. Not fake for the ones who have to fight it. But it sure is a fake war in DC. That's not the only lie in DC but I don't want to totally derail the thread.

I think China is angry enough to allow, assist, and defend a nuclear-holding Iran. Big time Zionist backfire

Are China going to provide the means for the regime to kill every Iranian? They did hurry along some of their newest armoured anti-riot vehicles to Iran, but I'm not sure China would go as far as supporting the regime until the very end. China will back out when they realise which side will win.

Expert analysis!!! You must be joking!

Haven't you realised that it's Feb. 2010, not July 2009 - as your sources are from. The Ashura protests changed the game just over a month ago.

You can cling onto your regime propaganda that gullible sites promote, but most of us have worked it by now, and some of us worked it out last June.

As one poster here had written, Ah Mad is just the court jester in the kingdom of the reigning Ayatollah. The Ayatollah just need his antics for comic relief. No one in the world takes him seriously.

However, world leaders will take him seriously only if his fellow countrymen takes him seriously, and follows along with his plan of fire and brimestone upon other nations.

The war ships are there to defend not only US, but the world's interests. We are all still not idependent of oil. If energy supply shipping is disrupted, there is literally gonna be hell to pay by all.

The illegal govt of China may seem to support Iran, but they too, are not stupid to realized what will happen if war breaks out in Iran. Oil is their fuel of growth. What sh$t hits the fan, oil price will jump, friends or no friends by other ME states. China's growth will tank, and there will be 1.3 billion at the despot's throat,

China does not want war in Iran anymore than US do. Nor dare they support Iran's ambition for domination. Nukes proliferation is a worse nitemare to the tyrants in China than US. US can live without oil or pay more, but not China. It would be bankrupted overnight.

$1 trillion GDP growth is not even enough to pay for social health care. It is only a $1000 per person. What about the army, education bills? China is stuck, knows it, and would have to chasten Iran.

Now it is only up to the Iranian masses to decide - to get rid of the Mad loudmouth and the unsupported hated power behind him - the Ayatollah, or to remain silent, accept the bomb and expect to die by the bomb.

Hopefully Israel will not do any rash act. They too must know the policy and consequences of having the bomb.

Thats very possible, can they launch a satellite with some payload into space they also have ICBM capability. Just like Israel and their Ofek sats, i posted a few lines about that some pages ago. A space program can be a smoke screen for testing intercontinental missile tech. Israel use the same rocket, Shavit, for launching spy-sat and their Jericho icbm, there is no real difference between large ballistic missiles and satellite launchers.

Report: Iran almost ready to launch spy satellite into space (26/01/2007)

Well, this seems somewhat relevant to the topic at hand: www.newsdaily.com...

Perhaps not so prepared to shoot down a missle as some may think.

Interesting tid bit for those that don't want to click the link,

coincided with a Pentagon report that Iran had expanded its ballistic missile capabilities and posed a "significant" threat to U.S. and allied forces in the Middle East region.

This goes along with the theory that Obama is a muslim plant from the Caliphate so their reformation occurs. Destroy America with a Manchurian Candidate, we are stupid kaffirs in America and we wouldn't even see it coming. Obama has control and power and can appoint and make things look like he is doing the right thing when all along he's just a puppet for Islam. Yeah, I can see this rumor starting since America is so divided and there is so much infra-fighting between just the Dems and Reps. Divide and Conquer = civil war. That would be the best thing ever for Islam to take global dominance.

Further, if we send a million troops into a war zone it wouldn't be unusual for Islam to sacrifice their own to kill a million of us with a nuke. Allah rewards the martyrs and all is good in their eyes.

I dunno. The world would be fine with 5 billion less humans on it. Then there would be 2000 years of peace. There are those who think they can rule that world and are making those plans.

Voting was held in 2009 not last month in a 'protest', so yes that article is relevant in the reply as it explains in detail the "voting" process and clears the dis-info of MSM.

I would hardly call it a Gullible site, infact it's one of the few non-biased source out there, I would rather rely on expert analysis than Fox, CNN, MSNC or BBC.

No not at all, US is widely accepted as a Global power and is spearheading aggressive efforts against Iran among the other global powers (UK/Germany/Israel etc.). A equal response to a Global Power USA would hurt the 'arrogance' of entire Global Powers. Infact when Iran planned (months ago) to launch enquiry against human right abuses it specifically named USA & UK. So yes it is one of the probable scenario.

Edit to add the article:

Iran MPs allocate millions to probe US, British 'abuses'
