I do accept your lifestyle,it is your business,not mine.I don't like these
parades that flount a deviant, lifestyle as being "normal".
I have had gay friends in my past.Nearly all my male friends, in the 70's,
were gay.

Very nice well thought out post. One that actually lends to a thoughtful response.

I would've posted something very similar if I was 100% on your side.

Really only one thing I think needs to be addressed: I think it is necessary for them to have their parades. I do not think it should be acceptable for it to be...I guess the word I'm looking for is promiscuous...although that word doesn't fit correctly. I think you will understand though.

The parades are necessary in the overall scheme of things because it lets the public know that yes, they are a rightful minority that does deserve the same respect other minorities do. It could very easily be something other than a parade, but that's how our country does things.

I'm still waiting on the proof that

1. They aren't rightful parades.

2. that the cities don't want them.

please?

The reality is it’s much more about voting blocks involved in special interest politics.

Politicians have long catered to special interest because of their own special interest in getting significant blocks of votes from people who have a special interest.

Gays on the political leadership level are simply playing the same special interest game that every other special interest is, and that’s letting the politicians see for themselves an accurate reflection of the demographics through showing an ability to organize and make that demographic not just visible but countable and computable.

Politicians do in fact turn out by the droves for Gay Pride Parades to not just see for themselves how large of a voting block they are, but to be seen by the voting block as a politician respectful and aware of that special interest’s cause.

While the average participant in a Gay Pride parade is really just there to have some fun and enjoy that moment in the sun, the people who put them on and organize them are putting them on and organizing to play the special interest political game, to produce and show numbers that can command the respect and attention of politicians looking for votes, and then to avail themselves of those politician’s ears to promote the causes of the Gay leadership which might even in many cases have to do with issues of personal patronage and enrichment than anything specific to gays or lesbians.

It’s all about politics my friend.

These parades break the laws and let us see how...
1.Gay pride organizers never have proper permits to hold these
parades.
2.The cities, they "march" at, never allow such activities to be
forced onto their citizens.
3.These types of parades always lead to violence and clashes with
the police and gay protestors.
4.God is against homosexuality and so am I.
5.Breaks the laws of nature.Trying to make a square peg fit into
a round hole,it doesn't fit.
6.Sexual lifestyle shouldn't define who you are as a person.Homosexuals
always wear their lifestyle, as a chip on their shoulders, daring others
to knock it off!

1. You shouldn't need a permit.
2. What's forced?
3. What protests don't cause clashes?
4. It's called separation of church and state for a reason.
5. It's not going against the laws of nature, humans are animals, and humans aren't the only animals with homosexuality.
6. You're being stereotypical, that shouldn't even be a reason.

I hate to reply to something from the first page, but stuff like this angers me.

and you interpreted that wrong. sex is a sin. that is not saying if man sleeps with man, that is saying if man sleeps with mankind. meaning any human.

So if you have sex, married or not, your sinning. your enjoying the physical instead of self sacrifice to god, which leads to holiness. You must let go of all needs and wants. live with bare minimum. Do that and you are following jesus, do otherwise, you are following the Devil.

One more thing. Sinning is not bad. We all grow, and experience what excites us and makes us happy. Until we have learned the way of the light, which by the way is no religion, all of them have the wisdom but seem to mess with it in wierd ways to manipulate people; we will finally see. its not a belief, you first must want to do so before you can. people are forced on religion which screws a lot of the growing process up, but there is always a choice.
Sorry, im writing all over the place, sinning is not bad nor good, there is no meaning to it. to not "sin" is to be going the way of the light, which is what is beyond. we are in hell, and its about to get hot.

GOD said homosexuality was an Abomination...Remember Sodom and Gomorrah????In all honesty even animals know that the male goes to the female.I mean yeah sure once in a blue moon you will see confused animals, but with time even they go back to the natural order of things.I have gay friends and they say they were born that way,but they also say everytime they have sex, something in them tells them its wrong and afterwards they feel ashamed and remorseful.

Your friends feel that way because they've been told they're "wrong" by people like you. If everyone just let them do their thing, they'd feel fine.

And no, not all gay animals go back to being straight animals. That's a lie. God doesn't like liars.

God does not exist. Get over it.

However, I admire the nerve of Christians suggesting homosexuals force their lifestyle on others while you shove your religion down our throats. Ironic, eh?

Feel free to join us in the 21st Century when you've stopped reading your book of hate.

God does exist and one day soon, even you will know it to be true.
Some gays, are in your face about their beliefs. Some christians are
in your face about their beliefs. But,not all of them are in your face,
just some.
The sqeaky wheel gets the oil...the others remain silent and get
nothing!

A shame you are not the other type them, you've done pretty well to spread religion throughout this thread
You post is the definition of "in your face"

How sad. Pathetic really.

Please stop the neo-fascist attitude by manipulating myself and others in this thread. We do not want to be associated to your hate doctrine, we believe all humans are equal.

Well said.
And to whoever compared a so called Gay Pride march to something like a St Patricks Day march, can you honestly not see the difference?
Gay Pride marches are marches about sexual preference, marches about sex. And as someone else pointed out, these marches attract the fringe elements - like the 'carnival queen'. If I want to see effeminate simpering men dressed as women, well there are places I can go for that. I don't want to see it paraded through the streets as some sort of glorious aspiration.

Wow, talk about synchronicity - there is a discussion about this on the radio at the moment and a GAY person phoned in on this very topic and said he didn't agree with marches/pushing their sexuality on people.

To whoever said such events are tourist attractions and bring in money - don't kid yourself this is anyway an indication of support for gay people. It's just people coming for a good day out and to see a circus freak show. Is that truly how gay people want to be perceived? I thought they just wanted to be ordinary, accepted members of society.
