I have never been to a gay parade.. Nor do I think I would go to one personally...
Its just I think a person should have a right to love who ever they want to love!
I don't think people should have a right to push their lifestyles upon others.

Just like religion does... It pushes its ways upon the rest of us..

So the whole Gay parades.. It does gays no justice IMO... I think if anything, it makes things worse.. As it spins this idea of what gay people are and how they act..

I have so many gay friends, I will defend them to the very end..
I have and always will stand up VS you bullies who think you know...

Yet gay people could be a little more discreet about their lives.. But then again thats my personal feelings.

I just think we could all learn alot from eachother.. Instead of spewing hate back and forth.. Its a cycle.. That gets us no where..

When we see a gay parade on TV, almost always they show the most flamboyent queens (no offense). What they don't show are the gay and lesbian police officers that are marching in the parade. They don't show the gay and lesbian clergy who march in the parades. They don't show the "normal" people who march in the parades. They only show the two guys in g-strings rubbing up against each other (which I agree tarnishes how people perceive us).

you stated that homosexuality is the sin. you also stated that god hates sin, when the god that was preached to me hates nothing. if anything, he has pity for sin.

LOL! Leviticus also states that men should never have short hair.. Leviticus states that people shouldn't wear clothes woven of 2 different materials..

i was leaving all of that out because I feel if she chooses to believe word for structurally placed word in the bible that is her choice. but no where in the bible does it mention that homosexuality, that is simply being gay, is a sin.

I know this because I know of 3 gay priests. THREE! that admitted while going through whatever it is that they were gay, but recognized their "errors in lust" as one put it. it basically has no worse effect than lusting after someone that isn't bonded to you.

I understand how the bible was written. (in a different time, under different social norms, and for a specific purpose) I understand that the Bible says not to lieth with another man (I personally don't see a problem with it, but if i followed the bible, I would have a conflict with it...actually the main reason I do not follow organized religions)

I have read similar comments as that reported in the OP from the local baptist minister back in the 1870s he had a bee in his bonnet about men dressing up as women and women dressing up as men, and thought it all very satanic

Oh, well sorry to distract you all.

Im not totally anti gay, but when was the last time you saw a heterosexual pride march through a city. It says to me, that they are not all together comfortable with their own sexuality if they feel the need to go and shout it from the roof tops, and shove it down peoples throats.

In a religious setting it is against most if not all religions to be gay, it is against all normal family traditions, by that i mean and from personal experience, to bring a child up in a gay parent relationship is just so wrong and very confusing for the child, and it is against the laws of nature for two of the same sex to have children let alone bring them up.

In the real world people dont like to hear things like that, and i believe thats one of the things that keeps them fighting, but they are true points, like it or not, Like i said i am not anti gay, i have gay friend, but they do accept the facts of being gay, and they dont rub it in peoples faces, they just get on with their lives as normal people do, and think the gay pride marching is as stupid as i think it is. in short get a life, it doesn't matter if you gay or not, just get on with it.
