Thought id see what you atsers think about this ideo. It isnt mine but i think its possibly one of the best videos seen by public. Has anyone any idea of a date or location too?

The video is "apparently"from New Zealand in 2008.
I posted this to find out what this is. Also to challenge you all to prove what it is but if youre that sure please supply the evidence to back up your claims instead of just saying its a plane coz it has lights. Thanks

When it comes to these videos i have no idea hwats real or not anymore.
This one to me the casual observer doesnt look doctored or anything, it is really some incredible footage.

Thats not the sun reflecting off a plane, firstly the sun would have to be on the other side its setting behind the plane. That can't cause a refelection to the observer on the other side of the plane.
Also planes move they dont hang like that.

I rarely visit the UFO section to many BS vids, too many Disclosure dates.

ahhaha i tend to do the same, after people post pictures of childrens toys that could have been tapped to a remote helicopter.

Before we go any further i would like to point out that i am a strong believer of ufo`s and et`s but i wont go saying a plane, a helicopter or a hotair balloon was a UFO. There would be no point and it would be defeating the whole reason. This video however is one of few that seem to prove that UFO`s are reall and cant be mistaken. I watched this video a few times Fully and cant seem to think of anything else it could be. BUT i am open to anyone who can "PROVE" what its not

Yes -- planes DO appear to hang like that when they are low on approach and heading toward the observer. The brightness of the object could be an airplanes landing lights, which are extremely bright.

If you ever spent time around a busy airport at dusk or night, you will ALWAYS see this same thing happen -- you will see the bright lights of a distant plane's landing lights just seem to "hang" there for a while. Then, as it gets closer, it will have more apparent motion.

When the object banks toward the end you can make out two blinking lights on either end as well as two brighter lights toward the center.

I think it's important to look carefully at the differences between the daytime and nighttime parts of the video. Take notice of this before you assume we are watching the same thing on different time frames.

The daytime part does show a object that seems to be legit—as in it doesn't look like to be a composite—but the footage is noway conclusive of what we're seeing. We could be watching an airplane on approach, or an helicopter, while admittedly, I couldn't spot any rotors or flashing lights.

The reason why—even though I couldn't identify the object as something mundane—I think the object in the daytime part is probably something 'earthly' so to speak, is because I have many doubts about the legitimacy of the second part of the video—the nighttime footage.

Quite frankly the nighttime footage is extremely unconvincing. Starting at around the 1m58s mark, the object we are shown acts very artificially and I'm convinced it is a composite. Why would this someone make up the second part of the video if on the first one we're allegedly seeing something extraordinary?

My conclusion is that either the first part of the video does show something legitimate but doesn't, by any means, automatically mean it's a UFO much less alien and the second part is fabricated. Or it's a completely fabricated video.

It looks pretty legit to me.

No airplane traffic here. If they were airplanes going to land, they wouldn't fly in the opposite direction all of a sudden and disappear.

The lights also seemed to change or have different colors on the craft.

I saw red, green, gold/white, and what seems to be like an electrical field around it like it is gathering energy.

I also saw a black shade along with the other colors.

IMHO i think its a UFO.

I agree. You can see the flashing lights on the wingtips at 2:37.

Landing lights are so bright that they usually outshine/obscure the blinking red and green navigation lights.

Actually, its all one continous footage. you will notice he eventually puts a dark filter on the camera so he can get more detail of the light...so, this 3 minute video took place in a 3 minute timeframe total...not spliced together...you will see the transition at about 1:35

As far as what it is...not sure at the moment. I know airplanes appear to hover for absolutely ages...especially when in a holding pattern and coming towards your direction...the only curious part is at the end...mostly because I think if anything, it might be 2 planes if it is a plane at all...the light patterns dont line up for just a single plane, but might be a optical illusion of them almost in single file...

ultimately, dont know.

Anything that says "100% Genuine" probably isn't.

Not just with UFOs, but with ANYTHING.

I see it now, thanks. I missed that at first.

However, and to further my suspicions, right before the person turns on the filter our field of view is pointed in a direction that we can longer keep track of the object we were watching before. Probably this person needed to look for the button on the camera and tilts the camera, but unfortunately, it's also very convenient if you're going to insert half way into the movie a composite in the place where an actual object was before.

I still think the movement is odd at around the 1m58s mark.
