Analyzing it from my personal views: does it surprise you that good dealing with evil inevitably resorts to evil? I can't name a war where the "good guys" didn't eventually do just as bad as the "bad guys".

Analyzing it from a moral point of view: welcome to hell. There's no right side in perpetual war. Trying to look any one side look more evil doesn't work, what with the limit of evilness in perpetual war being infinity.

Who is to blame? - I believe that Moslems, Christians and Jews all hold Moses in high esteem but all are happy to break the "Thou shalt not kill" rule when it suits them. Two wrongs don't make a right (how often do I have to state this in my posts!!). And alas we are all to blame, forgetting that people are people whatever their faiths and religions. We demonise our enemies (pleasse read any posts here) so that any injustice to our enemy becomes justifiable (NO IT DOES NOT).

Simply we praise people who are militant and carry the aggression that we feel but we don't praise enough the people who actually have the strength to stretch out for peace (i.e. to TRUST people they don't know)

thanks for bringing this to our attention here at ATS - and hopefully it will come to the world's attention, in force, very soon. i plan on doing my part, whenever possible, toward that end.

i knew there was much violence coming from Israel, toward the Palestinians, ever since these issues came into my consciousness. i have personally heard a few first-person accounts, first-hand in an e-mail group that i was a member of - and there was no anger or spitefulness in the telling. i saw a program on the History Channel about the ancient martial art of Krav Maga practiced in Israel for centuries, and it is a particularly vicious type of defense.

but i had NO IDEA that anyone, in this day and age, anywhere in the world, for any reason, would purposefully launch incendiary weapons into a school...when there were children inside!!!!

i felt sick to my stomach from anger!
i still do, to some degree - i read this a couple of hours earlier but i didn't have any idea of what to post in response but knew i definitely had to say something about it.

still, i don't know what to say other than this PISSES ME OFF.
it's a good thing that i don't wear a judge's robe!

Don't you think the average Isreali who is like you or me would be sick of thisas well? Don't you think they would be embarrassed about what is being done in their name?

If you want real action look on the Isreal PMs and Isreali Key media (newspaper or TV choice) website and post this link. No-one gets killed and action may turn off more actions like this.

Or if you feel their media won't show this, try the so called independants media oryour own MPs e.g. BBC etc. - if they are to their word independent, they maybe interested.

Okay I accept that the news is a little old and may not get the airing it deserves but you've not killed anyone nor incited anyone to be killed.
