I think that may all be the 5.3 at Baja, but it seems a strong signal for that. I can't see anything else though that is around the same time.

This is it on the ENZ channel GPW.UW..EHZ.2010.098

The link EngTech96 gave does not work. Did I just repeat his answer??

In a nutshell NO.

Do you really think that with so many experts and so many seismos in the area that they would not have given a warning if this was happening?

reply to post by Anmarie96

Well the place for that is the Volcano Watch. It does not need it's own thread in my opinion. What was said in the text was not cause for concern.

That is why we have volcano watch. The activity at Cierro Prieto is tectonic and nothing out of the ordinary. They should stop pumping water into the ground!

Good Morning, I am sorry you are grumpy today!!! Just so you know, I was trying to figure out what is going on at CA/Mex - I thought Volcano Watch - but there is more to this than Volcano - We have Quakes, Vocano, Man made issues, Political issues - in a nut shell - there are a whole lot of factors here - thence I thought it's own thread.

Quake Data 3.6.0 Build 43 now available

This is sort of an interim as I had hoped to get other things done but I have to spend some time on something else for a while so it may be a few weeks before another release.

  • Separated the vulcanism items onto their own main menu item called Volcano!
  • Added more volcano cams (3 in Iceland alone and 2 on Etna) - Now 28+ cameras in total!!
  • You can now add additional web cams to a 'My Added Web Cams' menu. Go to 'Settings' > 'Cams' to set these up.
  • Added menu items for 'World Clock', 'Antipodes Map' and 'Convert Lat/Lon' on the Tools menu
  • Added menu items for EMSC and Indonesian earthquake info and UK and Pacific network webicorders access page in a sub menu on the renamed Quake Webs menu
  • Made the cam snagger read the image type and create a download of the same type.

Free as always. Go to the link in my signature to get it.

Coming next AutoDRM and USGS Updates as a Windows service

Oh, one important change. hen you LEFT click a menu for a web/cam it will load in your default browser, and if you RIGHT click it will load in the program. This is the reverse of the current system as the IE based web widget is not liking Java very much.

The help has not been updated - I will do that next release.

I felt this quake!!! I was sitting here trying to find any trace of it but it just wasn't showing up yet. I knew right away. Like a 'thud' you might get from a very large truck going by, only there wasn't one. No rolling or anything, just the bang.

Check out my earlier thread one page back. The mountains are a little uneasy today!

Westcoast, I felt (or, I guess, heard) it too. I was in Sedro Woolley and my office building just started popping. I felt one small jolt but it was the popping that was significant.
I started checking the USGS site but didn't see anything before I had to log off so I kind of thought maybe it had been my imagination.
Guess not!! Glad to hear local confirmation!!
