I felt this quake!!! I was sitting here trying to find any trace of it but it just wasn't showing up yet. I knew right away. Like a 'thud' you might get from a very large truck going by, only there wasn't one. No rolling or anything, just the bang.

Check out my earlier thread one page back. The mountains are a little uneasy today!

Westcoast, I felt (or, I guess, heard) it too. I was in Sedro Woolley and my office building just started popping. I felt one small jolt but it was the popping that was significant.
I started checking the USGS site but didn't see anything before I had to log off so I kind of thought maybe it had been my imagination.
Guess not!! Glad to hear local confirmation!!

Thank you for the confirmation. I was wondering if maybe I had been wrong about it, but you just cleared that up! I have felt these types of quakes before so I knew right away what it was....but still.

Not much going on in our part of the state today, but it seems to be just about everywhere else!

Up here in WA, I think it's been almost 9 years since a significant quake. I am getting a little nervous. It appears that the entire rim is unstable to me. Those of you with more experience in this- should I be nervous?

I shall brew a few buckets of caffeine

I'm not one for getting worried, per se, but I have a feeling in my gut that says things aren't right... for those saying "is this normal" - who knows? We're looking as such a tiny timeline of events that we could be looking at normal or we could be seeing something brewing (my gut says brewing
)

We've updated our earthquake kit, just to be on the safe side
