I claim a senior moment!

That belt only 100 miles from Toba is interesting and the subsequent 5.1 just next to it.

Hey - welcome back to the world - everything seems to be amiss at the moment - computers are acting flakey -as are the seismos - as are the non existant aftershock quakes - - very strange waves went around the world - now - back down to next to nothing as far as I can see on dreaded dial up - I do not have access to GEE here - just odd - all of it - Hope you at least had time to take in a cup of coffee!

Oh look - Chile responed

MAP 4.7 2010/04/07 02:29:50 -35.481 -72.542 35.0 OFFSHORE MAULE, CHILE

Oh, my wife's friend informed us that he believes Baja is on the direct other side of the earth. The word he used was Antipodal.

I had to see for myself

On my second cuppa!

Taking a while to get my head round it all - I'm desperately trying not to join the "something strange is going on here" gang but it's hard not to at the moment!

Only 3pm here so plenty of time left to scratch my head! It's still bugging me that there are obviously LOTS of quakes not being reported around the globe - I realise there are lots of aftershocks showing from Baja because they report lower quakes within USA but there MUST be lots missing from last few days for the rest of the world... even though they have reported a few of the larger ones...

Cool tool... I just found out that where I emigrated from in Scotland IS pretty much the other side of the world from where I am now in New Zealand!!

I can try that here now from my location - I did it once before on a another program - i ended up in the ocean at some remote location - go figure - At lease I am a pieces.

But on the quakes here now - did ya all notice the yellow and blue - just a very few micro reds in ca/mex (i'm gonna shorten that) c/m - not nodda anywhere else -- all this in the past week and AK didn't even sound-

But - all is good - this is all "normal" according to the press :-) - so therefore, no worries

Oh - that quake in chile is at the top of the page - i posted it earllier
