That this thread is even on the home page makes me laugh. They played a song from a popular rapper on new years eve that was presented by carson daily, and this is a big deal? It's not like the president of the United states stepped out in front of everyone and announced that "this is the new official theme of new years, if you don't sing it's off to the FEMA camps for you." I didn't lose faith in the American people until i came to this site and saw how almost all of you COMPLETELY miss the point in almost everything you talk about, and focus on the irrelevant details on every topic.

And then we have people saying that this video is satanic....lmmfao.

That could be the Truest statement ever... I could see that absolutely being the case in our society which can convert anything into a commercial Jingle...

That this simply isn't NICE for The New Years Eve Countdown... This isn't the Memory I want my kids and I don't believe a single person defending it when they have kids or even simply MATURE... will want this being the memory of New Years eve 2010 right after the ball drops...

What?? Who is saying Carson Daily?? I also watched the same exact program and tried to dance to OLS with my 8 yr old, which is a tradition I started when he was little, you know, just a little moment for he & I to share, when that ridiculous song cut in and ruined it. It was the channel that had Ryan Seacrest hosting. I never switched the channel, so on the east coast that is exactly what happened.

What I found most disturbing about the Dick Clarke's 2010 New Years Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest is that Dick Clark looked like a zombie.

The man should either retire or stop using all that botox on his face. (I know he had a stroke 2 years ago, but look at his face.. no wrinkles = botox). He's barely able to use his facial muscles to show expression.

Even the title of 'Dick Clarke's 2010 New Years Rockin' Eve' kind of reminds me of something out of futurama, minus his talking head in a jar. It's just so.. weird.

And as for the choice of music and performers, media is garbage.
