Those whom have criticised the Strippers, how many times have you been to a Strippers Club??????

Enough of using derogatory remarks they are Women after all. Are you all annoyed, cause they won?

So there's no difference between strippers and prostitutes? And being in the sex trade abrogates their rights as women, let alone as citizens?

Bunch of guys sitting around paying women to give them a show, and it's the women who are of dubious morals?

It's a new millennium there, Ally Oop...time to catch up.

Come on. Really?

You honestly feel that just because they are strippers that they have any less right?

What if you were in a club and the cops stripped searched you while serving a warrant for business records?

It's strange that people forget that people are PEOPLE, just based on their profession...

NO.

The breach of constitutional rights occurred when one of the complainants was taken into a back room and strip searched during the execution of a search warrant for business records

No idea and dont realy care to know. Strippers aren't "ladies" and there is nothing ladylike about them.

Prime example of a real lady...... Rosa Parks. Not Kelly Star or whatever.

As a musician and a member of what might be called saloon society, and knowing more than a few strippers, pole dancers, Lap dancers, go go girls and other entertainers; they are just as much a cross section of society as any other profession. Classifying them all as whores is just as arrogant as classifying all cops pigs.

Judge not lest ye be judged. Glass houses.....

topic....nice to see justice served for a change.

You Can (you are able to) not be a lady, and still be cool.
I think you misinterpreted my post.
Lady's don't strip. Some cool women do though.
That's how I meant my previous post to be interpreted.

I didn't know about the strip search, I didnt' read the whole article, just the part about them " standing, kneeling, or lying down" .... and I didnt think that was too much.

however a strip search would be way over board, ... I was just having a lil fun, and I dont think their less human than normal people, I just thought they were blowing it out of proportion because of their profession.

my statement about ping pong balls still stand however.

You should get on well with them then, as you are no gentleman.

Are you bitter because the girls you think "do it," don't do it with you? So you have to self-righteously insult them?

I seem to remember hearing some things like:
"let he who is without sin cast the first stone," and
"before you worry about the sawdust in your neighbour's eye, pull those damn logs out of your own."

This is turning into an interesting social perspective... and dare I suggest that the old "saying" may be true: guys want their women to be "ladies" in public and "xxx" in private and never the two shall cross.

Yes/No?

I wonder if this is where we get the phrase "cop a feel"?

Joking aside, good going ladies.

Plenty of ladies are strippers, all of you who think dancing nude is so horrible need to recognize its 2009. Now the ones who give blow jobs in the back and such, they are whores, flat out.

There are plenty of women who strip to get through college, and do so in a respectful and fun manner. Did you ever think maybe they enjoy dancing? Some actually are part of dance schools as well, doing jazz and ballet. So what they dont have clothes on. It beats working for 8$ an hour flipping burgers.

Sadly, many women give the good ones a bad name in that industry. This is FAR from being the porn industry, and I can hardly call them ladies. Porn workers are basically engaging in prostitution. They get paid for having sex. While on the other hand, strippers are paid to dance, and only dance.

Preconceptions are a horrible thing. I bet there are many strippers who if you met somewhere other then their work, you would have no problem calling them ladies, and even more so spending time with them. But the second someone hears they are a stripper its automatically a horrible thing. Sorry, but you could not be any more wrong.

The actions of a few do are not how they all act. Even if most strippers are whores, and a few were genuine ladies, it would still be wrong to just flat out say all strippers are unladylike. Thats like not even giving somebody a chance, because somebody else who holds the same position is an a-hole.

One day, hopefully somebody doesnt judge any of you who are judging without getting to know you. If you want to judge a whole group of people, you better have met every single one of them. Otherwise your words are nothing but hateful preconceptions.

I agree with those comments, though I find it a little ironic that you still reduce all sex trade workers to the epithet "whores". Perhaps you need to apply your sentiments across the board.

For a group that finds itself so publicly maligned...sure seems to be an essential service. And given a little more dignity in other jurisdictions.

whore
/hɔr, hoʊr or, often, hʊər/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [hawr, hohr or, often, hoor] Show IPA noun, verb, whored, whor⋅ing.
Use whore in a Sentence
See web results for whore
See images of whore
–noun
1. a woman who engages in promiscuous sexual intercourse, usually for money; prostitute; harlot; strumpet.

- Dictionary.com

Is that not what porn actors do? Is that not what strippers who give "extra" do? So by definition, that is what they are. It may not be the best word, but it certainly is not the wrong word.

Given that gentility seems to be an issue here, seems to be that less judgmental terminology could be used. Is the issue that you couldn't bring a prostitute home to meet Mom? And what would Mom think about casual use of the word whore?

I mean the word # is in the dictionary, too.

That is absolutely the funniest thing ive heard all day. Am i bitter because they dont "do it" with me?

Apparently you forgot that we were talking about strippers here. Last time i checked they "do it" (not sex) with just about anyone with a 20 dollar bill. I dont really care if a woman chooses to strip or anything else for that matter. All i was saying is that after they have done this they are no longer "ladies" in my book. I noever said strippers werent cool or anything like that so get over it. You can have a lot of fun with strippers if you werent aware. All you need is a heafty bank roll.

Your version of "dance" and my version of "dance" must be total opposites. I thought dancing was supposed to be intimate not some "college student" shaking her butt and boobs for some old horny man.

Dancing can be anything, someone just going with the music. Not all strippers shake their butt in front of horny old men. Some actually dance very lady like, although erotic. Some I will admit, do dance quite shamefully. But I have seen others dance with some class.
