Meh.....just more media blah, blah, blah.
No conclusions, answers, or positive proof of anything will br forthcoming.

I have better things to do with my time...

Y'all enjoy watching, though!

That's the point. We all know we're not going to get answers. Not until enough "we the peoples" start asking the questions, or even just recognizing that there are questions in the first place.

The point of the show is not to answer these questions. The point is to get people asking them. 1.6 million households watched. Most of them probably never heard of HAARP. Now they have, and they're now trying to decide if they should be terrified or infuriated.

Add another million to the the people questioning the events of 9/11, those that are keeping secrets begin to feel a little more heat. It's momentum, can't you see? The more main-stream he takes these topics, the less "whacked-out paranoid schizophrenic" you and I become.

thats all good and well but a hand full of scientific reports over a few decades does not inpress me...you have to admit that HAARP has a multitude of different weapon application, and i it just being a NAVY program speaks to that

I thought the first episode was very well done. Nothing over the top, just Jesse being himself while trying to get some answers. Even if HAARP is totally innocent (I have my doubts), they are suspicious by there actions. They are located in the middle of nowhere, listed as an un-classified project yet cant let in a former S.E.A.L. and Gov? I posted the link to the shows episode schedule for those that need or want it.

A "surprise" visit with a TV crew. The limited staff is expected to drop everything to show him around the place? Why?

Maybe he should try the same stunt at the LHC and see how far it gets him. If they don't let him in it will prove there's something shady going on.

Ya not a very in depth show, seems more in the vain of ice road truckers than an actual investigation.

Its pretty silly they they show up at the front door and ask some local yahoo's when there is already significant data about haarp released.

Of course its much more exciting to have a "reality show" instead of 30 minutes of science about resonant harmonic absorption fields in relation to ionosphere and space plasma.

If it were a serious research facility, they would have published something by now

They have published haarp research in Nature, The Journal of Geophysical Research, Geophysical Research Letters (agu.org have well over 10 published articles on the web with haarp research), Radio Science Journal, Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, and many more.

In the 90's they even had amateur ham radio operators help test signals.

One of the reasons for secrecy is purely based on competition, Haarp is not the only facility on the world, some others are:

1.HISCAT (International Radio Observatory, Sweden) (350 MW)

2. HAARP Gakona Alaska (110 MW)

3. EISCAT (Tromsö, Norway) (48 MW)

4. VOA (Voice of America - Delano, CA) (27 MW)

5. SURA (Radiophysical Research Institute, Nizhny Novgorod, Russia) (20 MW)

6. Arecibo (National Astronomy and Ionosphere Center, Puerto Rico) (20 MW)

7. HIPAS High Power Auroral Stimulation Observatory (UCLA Plasma Physics Lab - Fairbanks Alaska) (17 MW)

And who knows what kind of stuff China, Russia or anyone else has. If it can be used defensively or offensively your damn sure they aren't going to give up their research to anyone who comes knocking.

From what Ive read a lot of research involves the the mysterious Alfven resonance. Figure out what that is and you'll get a clue to what some of haarp research is about.

the links you posted are intersting and im looking through them now...but from what im reading it still leads to a multi-purpose weapon, radar.

Well, you feel free to believe that. I don't think we'll ever get any answers, no matter how many "we the peoples" start asking questions.

I don't know about all that. Those with no interest in CT aren't going to watch it, and those with interest most likely already know most of what the show presents.

Add another million to the the people questioning the events of 9/11, those that are keeping secrets begin to feel a little more heat. It's momentum, can't you see? The more main-stream he takes these topics, the less "whacked-out paranoid schizophrenic" you and I become.

Really? You actually think that people watching TV and looking at 9/11 stuff on the computer will generate any "heat"? Or "build momentum"? I'm pretty sure that as long as everyone's just watching the tube the PTB are happy and secure.

Of course, opinions vary, and I could be wrong about this. Tell you what, when Jesse's show motivates a ton of people to march on DC demanding answers, I'll post a huge "I'm a dumbass, and was totally wrong" thread here so everyone can point and laugh at how naive I am.

Until then, like I said, I have better things to do with my time.

Jessie Ventura is indeed touching on subject matter that needs discussing, but what concerns me is whether or not HAARP is being used to manipulate the weather in an effort to contribute to the false premise that the planet is warming.

It is scary enough to find out that HAARP can be turned into a death ray and kill everyone. I just suspect that HAARP has been a part of the global warming hoax and has been used to help sell the deception by having HAARP manipulate the weather in an effort to create false climate data.

I know its a far reaching theory, but I think the climate gate emails might prove some connection if researched for HAARP involvement.

HAARP cannot be turned into a death ray and it cannot influence the weather.
HAARP, on a good day, produces an infinitesimal fraction of the amount of energy that the sun puts into the ionosphere every second. It affects a very small area of the ionosphere directly above the facility.

im not sure your right, you have no proof that HAARP is just a research facility...im sure the Navy and Air Force have not invested millions in pure research, with no application to modern or future warfare(conventional or unconventional)....mcham.org...

Demanding answers: I happen to believe it will make an impact. When enough people see the truth and start organizing for answers - they will either get them or results will be exactly what the Government fears might happen!

People have just started waking up in great numbers, with a show like this more and more wake up and realize the questions from those awake really do mean something more than conspiracy. It comes down to the fact it is obvious the government is lying, hiding things and is going out of its way to stop "answers"

That speaks louder than the questions itself. In respect it is an answer of guilt.

When the government fears the people you have freedom, when the people fear their government you have tyranny

You want me to prove a negative, that HAARP is not a weapon? It doesn't work that way. How about you proving that HAARP is a weapon, that it actually has a weapons capability.

Who said there is no application to future warfare? Yes, OTH radar has warfare applications. Yes, submarine communications have warfare applications. Yes, long distance communications has warfare applications. Yes, the ability to mitigate the effects of ionospheric disturbances on satellites has warfare applications.

"Warfare applications" does not mean weapons applications. The work being done now at HAARP is research. In the future some of that research may find its way into weaponry. But HAARP is not a weapon. HAARP is not a death ray. HAARP cannot control the weather. HAARP cannot control your mind.

If so:

Arnold "The Austrian" communist admirer - free to run for President because of Obama (foreign born and elected) - I knew there was another reason he got in there.

Jesse Ventura - real American - and is about restoring freedom/truth for the people and by the people

The choice would not be hard!

Restore paper ballots - get rid of Diebold or whatever they call themselves and their corrupt voting machines now!

I sort of mixed my replies there.

Possible future applications. HAARP is a research facility.

Limited staff at HAARP? You know something we don't Phage? All I am suggesting is that if what they do there is scientific research that's not even important enough to classify with a security level then they would have no problems saying "well what we are doing today is trying to get lightning to strike our 30 ton Jiffy Pop target there so we can have a snack after nap time" or whatever they are doing.

I have some things to say about this show based on this first episode.

First of all, I really like how they treated the subject matter fairly. They gave a good overview of the conspiracy theories about HAARP and had some good interviews with the right people (even though it was a bit one-sided). Props to JV and the producers for at least giving people a legitimate crash course in HAARP.

But...

I really have to say that I am incredibly disappointed in the way it was made. Anyone who knows anything about TV will tell you that this show is scripted beyond belief. Almost all, if not all, of the phone calls, dialogue between members of JV's "team," etc. are completely scripted. You can tell because the acting is horrible. It is done in the same kind of corny style that shows like "Monster Quest" and "UFO Hunters" are done in, but I would argue that this is significantly worse.

I am about to graduate from a well-regarded communications school, and I'm taking a 400-level course in documentary right now. I can tell you that this show is just bad. Most casual viewers and dumbed-down sheeple won't notice, but there are also plenty of smart people who will see this show and not take the subject seriously simply because of how it's put together. I already believe in this stuff so it doesn't turn me off, but someone who was looking into it might get the wrong impression of this community of ours...they won't take it seriously. I don't think it really does much service to anyone or anything.

I am seriously thinking of writing and e-mail to JV or the producers and recommending that they tone it down with the scripted material, make it more realistic, focus more on interviews and background info, etc. For example, the interviews with the son of the guy who designed HAARP were well-done, and I think they captured the appropriate seriousness of the subject matter in those scenes. But when The Bod flies his helicopter into HAARP airspace, lands in front of the gate, and has a fairly smooth conversation with the guy who comes out, I'm sorry folks but that is all staged. And it's REALLY obvious, especially to someone who has been studying television for several years now.

I think Alex Jones is often over the top, but even he makes a more genuinely believable documentary than this.

Bottom line: the concept is good and they provide some really solid information and interviews, but it is marred by the horrible production standards. They gotta stop trying to be so XTREME and just make something genuine. They're trying way too hard.

Does anyone else agree? I'm not trying to bash JV or anyone who liked the show, but you gotta understand, the scripting and show structure is god-awful, and that's going to turn many people away who might otherwise have gotten into it. Granted, the show is just starting, so they might fix some of these things as they get their footing. But if it stays like this then I will have to say that we're probably better off without it.

Thoughts?

HAARP is a $250 million dollar Military research facility with a yearly budget of 30 million...im sure they will come out with another scientific report in the next 10 years.
