Enough shallow talk. First Abraham Lincoln warned us our enemy would come from within, then JFK, then in the late 70's General George Keegan. During the election only one stood to demand proof of Obama's citizenship, Dr. Alan Keyes. Since then and into today many many lawsuits demanding proof.

But Judge's Governors, Politicians the media all participate in a conspiricy of treason.

We protest and they ignore us and do it anyway. We file lawsuits in accordance with law and they throw them out and violate the law. They call a news show not a news show because they own all the others.

There was a point before world war II that we could have stopped it and we did not. We let Isreal get away with the massacre of the US Liberty.

After 8 years even the victims of 9/11 do not care about the truth.

WE ARE AWAKE AND WE STILL DO NOTHING! So what do you expect the sleeping hoards to do? They don't want to wake up, they don't want to realize their country is dying.

PUT UP OR SHUT UP ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IF NOT NOW, WHEN????????????????/////

However, U.S. soldiers have done a great job in Iraq, and it looks like the new Iraqi government might actually succeed in being the first successful democracy in the Middle East, and that would be an amazing accomplishment.

another satisfied cnn viewer.

your troops will be there until it is totally safe for contractors to pump the place dry.

It has been a long time since I have watched CNN.

Iraq is now in control of who it contracts out for oil production and research. The people of Iraq will now be seeing a far greater return on Iraqi oil than they ever received from Hussein. U.S. troop presence does not guarantee U.S. oil companies will be the contractors who control Iraq oil production. Most likely countries around the world will participate.

When I read about what Hussein's monsterous sons were doing while Saddam was in charge, that alone made the war worthwhile.

Corruption knows no party line, and no smile can be big enough, and no promise can be sweet enough to dull the pain I feel for the US today as a result of what I have witnessed happening to my beloved nation over the 2 decades I have been here.

This is the best damn thread I have ever seen. ATS or otherwise.

I'm glad you're an American. We need more brave men and women like you, who will stand up for what they believe in. And against those who use us like pawns.

Thank you for taking the time and effort to put this together.

Keep fighting the good fight. America needs you now more than ever.

so you claim to serve your country and it's people so they can have the right to speak, then you threaten to violently attack them if they do.

I did neither.

Just remember, You work for the corporations and elitists just as I do. The next time you do ANYTHING required to live in this country, you are supporting everything that you condone.

So whos the bad guy? the guy who believes what hes been told.......or the guy who believes what hes been told.

I.E. he will be willing to follow orders that he believes are inhuman and illegal. Or is the big plan to infilitrate the Army and change how they operate. If so I hope you enjoy your years in military prison.

It doesn't make sense and his failure to explain his stance except for folowing the constitution, makes me wonder why he even made this thread in the first place except for some weird demand for attention.

careful thats what i was saying in the postings that were removed.

If you really believe that, why are you still posting in this thread? Aren't you giving me what you already assume I want? I mean really manx, come on.

OKley Dokley,

To all that have posted, I love all of my fellow kindred spirits and believe we all believe in the same thing. The OP has been attacked by both the people that believed in his original post and those that did not.

If I may OP, he put his heart on his sleave and people have attacked him for it. SHAME. Yes he may have a misconception of what he can do in service or he may not. But, how can one understand the ability of one to influence.

One thing that dismays me, OP you are not a citizen, yet our military will allow you to serve? Does this not dismay any of you?

I feel for each and everyone of you, not just Americans but all of mankind. We the people do not want what is yours, we want what is ours-

FREEDOM-of expression, of knowledge, of tyranny, of unreasonable taxation, of limitations, of life, of liberty and the god given right of

Free will and determination

EDIT to note (hell, I just read that and kinda like)

The US military allows immigrants who are Resident Alien Card(Green Card) holders and have filed a notice of intent to become a US citizen. It would take only one year and no fee to apply for citizenship while in the service. If I didn't join the military it would cost me a fee that I can afford(roughly 700 bucks) and MUCH less time. I'm willing to wait the year, as even if I didn't have a green card my 1-94 grants me indefinite stay and employment authorization. With no requirement to apply for a green card and no requirement to apply for citizenship. I'm doing this because I want to, and have had 8 years to think about it.

I think that a lot of this backlash is somewhat due to the fact that people are concerned for me and see the military as a quick death, I see it differently, and I'll never be able to make people understand.

Meh, I'm good on criticism. As you may have noticed I have quite a thick skin. I think in a place full of 17 and 18 year old kids it would be good to have a few "old men" around that have had time to think. I'm used to disciplined training. I've spent my entire life in martial arts. My father was one himself(Being a military man) and that sort of regimentation has always been with me.

I'm not sure what you mean by IF I get in, I know I will, I have all of my legalities and paperwork in order.

Edit to add:

At 25, I never thought the words "Your age might be an issue" would be directed at me

If you are serious about the military then do yourself a favor and get your citizenship first, then join the Air Force or the Marine Corps. The Army will choose your MOS for you which will most likely be Infantryman, give you eight short weeks of basic, and then send you to fight or garrison. You seem like a smart guy, dont limit yourself. Ive seen it happen way too many times.

I know the system of enlistment contracts. They can't just violate them because you're an immigrant, that is illegal. A lot of people who join the military and don't get to do the job they want to do are in that position because they didn't put it in writing. My brother joined before he was a citizen and got his choice of MOS-13 Bravo. I'll get mine-97 Echo.

Well I hate to tell you this, but it doesnt quite work like that currently with the Army.

First you "sign" up, and your recruiter will give you an initial screening. Then you will go to MEPS. You will take the ASVAB as well as numerous physicals. Once you pass the ASVAB and are cleared medically to serve, you will begin contract negotiations. They will then select a job for you based on your scores and their current needs. When you come to an agreement, They will THEN offer you a contract.

Yes, but there are ways of maximizing your chances, and a lot of the time, depending on your choice of MOS, they don't even argue with your terms. I may have to prove my level of qualification, but I assure you, I will get my MOS.

And some of us are only willing to if it is necessary. The world isn't the peaceful place you'd like it to be. It isn't the peaceful place I'd like it to be. But human intentions and motivations vary so much from person to person, and with 7 billion of us, impossible to understand them all. You have got to admit what you don't know. In a world with a society so complicated there will be conflict.

It is never necessary to take another life....we are all on the same path of evolution... for you to cut short someones path, is Karma you will have to carry.

Until we take that chip off of our shoulder and stop labeling ourselves as a 'warrior' we will not be able to see the light...

We don't know everyones intentions, nor should we, but we do know our own intentions and they should be peaceful, just and pure...

PEACE and LOVE...
