This is either a hoax, or a satanic sacrifice. There are more satanists than you can imagine people. The Denver area is loaded with them.

How do you know that at the National Balloon Flight Center the people only work exclusively with Hot Air balloons and/or have no experience at all with helium balloons?

Lets investigate this:

The dad is the nut case from 2 wife swap episodes. He is a crazy storm chaser and posts youtube videos about aliens and wants his kids to be rappers!!

This could be a hoax. Lets open this up for discussion they are media hounds wanting attention. The whole family is all about drawing the cameras to them this could be a crazy attempt to get national attention for the dad's youtube videos and alien abduction stories!!!

Haven't had a chance to filter through all the responses, but here's an added twist to the story....

This family was also in an episode of Wife Swap, and some of the Heene Family videos on youtube are pretty odd.

I hope this isn't a publicity stunt gone bad, because it appears to me that this family is hell bent on getting on TV.

Do you not believe that experts on balloons would be able to know whether or not a balloon could carry someone? I doubt that the Balloon Flight Center just has Joe Schmo's from off the street working for them.

I am watching the news right now and they have their own experts saying a helium balloon of this size would not lift 50-60lbs off the ground so I guess we will have to wait and see how it plays out. Do the calculations yourself. Do you know how big a cluster of 1600 party sized balloons would be? Each balloon would be about 10 inches in diameter it would be much larger than this balloon.

Thanks for the link. I have been listening, waiting to hear that he has been found at the neighbors house playing video games. Every now and then there is something about the search, but no news so far. I have a feeling that this is not going to turn out well.

No problem! I'm also staying positive and saying he's fine. But CNN is reporting a Policeman saw an object drop from the balloon. But early stories are many times incorrect.

My five year old isn't 50#. She's pretty tall, not too skinny, and about 42#. And out of the five children in this age group in from my children and my nieces and nephew, between the ages of 5 and 8, only the 8 year old is in that range. Of the four in the 5-6 range, my 5 year old is the heaviest.

Just saying. He could very well not be 50#.

A friend just reminded me that because children cannot be sent to
Hell, this little boy is fine, even if his physical life just ended. I guess
that would be some comfort to the family?

Personally, I want to keep my two little ones here on Earth with me
as long as possible!

Ballooon is 20 feet long and 5 feet high. The police again have said the boy WAS inside. SO I guess they know the 3 boys were up to something they weren't suppose to be doing. THEY are searching a certain area. It shouldn't be long before we know something.

I saw that mythbusters where they used helium balloons to lift a toddler.

The group of balloons it took to get her off of the ground was 6 or 7 times the size of that balloon saucer.

I dout the kid was ever in this saucer balloon.
