the israel stuff in particular points you out as having no real focus, but simply believing that anyone who doesn't happen to share your political views is stupid or evil. this is a delusion.

it just so happens that a lot of ATSers do share these opinions, hence the back-patting, you-go-girl nature of the first couple of pages of replies in this thread.

of course, i'll be decried as stupid, or as a government agent or some such bull, because of this post, even though I am neither pro-U.S. or pro-Israel. I am an individual, and I believe in reasoning out one's own opinions instead of forming them as emotional knee-jerk responses to political stimuli.

truth be told, I am an Anarchist, in the purest sense of the word; I believe that statism is destructive, and plays into (or may even be a product of) the violent xenophobia which primates in general exhibit so strongly.

Furthermore, as an individual who lives far, far away from Israel and has no friends, relatives or financial interests within or near its borders, I do not give a rat's ass one way or the other what goes on there on a daily basis. Neither do I claim to know what is best for them, or for their neighbors.

But to claim that a person is inherently stupid because of some minor political belief which they do or do not hold is unreasonable, and demonstrative of a mind which makes broad judgements based on narrow segments of fact.

Let's narrow this down:
Anyone who's signature is "I'll be ok, once Palin gets in office." is stupid. Palin???Really??? That's real stupid.
Anyone who's signature is "Obama is Jim Jones(mk2), not JFK."
is stupid. Somehow ALL who suport this Pres. are following JJ?

This thread is another example for why I do not like political debate on ATS. It's too damn 1 sided and definitive.

I agree with everything except the part about the Middle East (Muslims) wanting to destroy America. There are millions (91 million/7% of all Muslims) of Muslims who DO want America to fail. There are terrorists who are Muslim.

The problem is our strategy. I don't think war is the solution. We should do more boycotting. Boycott Saudi Arabia and any other Muslim nation that teaches Radical Islam.

I also think we should boycott China, until they understand what human rights are. I'm mentioning China so I don't look like I'm prejudice against Muslims. I'm prejudice against nations who don't have basic human rights for its citizens, which are usually Communist or Islamic.

when I read all this I can only say
humanity or whatever we want to call our selfs is doomed

or creators and masters must be even worse

Since I admit to not having read every post on this topic, I realize I run the risk of asking a question already answered. However, that being said I want to know what do we do about it? There is no question in my mind that a lot of people are uneducated (not "stupid") about many of the things mentioned here but I still don't hear any plausible solutions.

I totally agree with you Emerald and I was born in Louisiana and have lived most of my life in Texas.

There are still many that think Al Qaeda, Taliban and Osama orchestrated 911 and many of these people have degrees from college universities.

There are still many that think Obama is causing all the turmoil in the US when in actuality it has been going on for a long time...probably clear back to the early 1800s.

Many cannot see that our leaders like to toy with us. There is no mistake that Osama sounds like Obama and his middle name being Hussein as in Sadam Hussein.

There is no mistake the 2004 elections were between 2 cousins John Kerry and George W Bush that just happen to be members of Skull and Bones at Yale.

Many continue to write these things off as nonsense, conspiracy whacko theories which is ok by me. It will simply accelerate the destruction process and hopefully bring closure to the stupidity here in the USA. Hopefully.

Three have died in my town of 1,300. No one has said Swine but they died of flu complications. One had cancer, but was healthy. I have seen a spike in deaths here as well but I only have direct knowledge of the three, the word around town says swine got them.

I personally know at least one victim, Kenneth Pillow of Texarkana Texas. He died of the swine flu but it is not reported that way. The local news said this healthy 28 year old died in his sleep and that was it. This guy could run a 3 minute mile like it was nothing.

Media blackouts are just part of the equation when it comes to Pandemics. Media Blackout 1918 No one wants to be liable, and will only report confirmed cases which are few and far between.

We voted Obama in.
We clammour for free stuff, vaccines, healthcare, food, housing, cars etc.
We are afraid to take care of ourselves, our families.
We have demanded (and in turn, received) our new Nanny State.

The news is reporting only a small fraction of the deaths. I don’t have a TV so I wouldn’t know what they are saying. I just know what I see around me, and I have family members who got sick and from the sound of it the swine flu is really bad news. In no way is it a mild illness! This is the flu you have a 85-90 percent chance to experience it firsthand.

1)Nature will take care of business

Those who get the Swine Flu vaccine and die off will be better for humanity as a whole. It is nature's way of getting rid of stupid and gullible people. There's no one to blame but yourself if you get the vaccine.

2)America's economy will be totally destroyed within a short period of time

Thanks to the emerging New World Order, a one world currency is needed, and it's NOT going to be the dollar. As a matter of fact, countries have already started to switch over to Euro, Gold, and other alternatives. No one believes in America anymore. It has unfortunately become a country full of lazy, arrogant, and ignorant people. The people who believe in the 9/11 official story don't even care that there has not been ANY single investigation by their own government on an event that has shaped the world we live in today.

The once great country of the United States is now only one step away from becoming Nazi Germany where people follow what they are told without question.

3)Most of these "gullible" people live in America

I hate to say it, but most of these "dumb" people live in the United States. There is a reason America experiments on its own people via the military vaccines, Fluoride, MSG, etc.

Nature in the end will take care of all the "dumb" people by getting rid of them, and fortunately that will put an end to the "stupid" gene.

The reason America is the main focus of this thread is because what I've said is true. I live in America, and it truly has become a country full of lazy and dumb people. If I was in another country, then I would talk from experience about that country, but I'm not.

Everyday, I see very gullible and dumb people that follow everything they hear and see on TV, internet, or main stream news.

The sad part is that every human being has the same potential, which is infinite, but they fail to realize it. Americans just seem to have a sense of "pride" that their country can do no wrong. You are feeding The Ego, so wake up and realize at the end of the day we are all humans.

If you support the troops fighting "terrorism", then bring them home. There's no point for people to be dying on any side from any country based on ILLEGAL wars.

There will always be stupid people in the world. Natural selection will not take care of them all.

Americans are smart, a majority go to college, choose what they like, and spend most of their time and life working doing just that.

Most people don't have the time to spend reading all the other sides to a news story or questioning the who, what, where, when, and why. That is why we have MSM. It's easy, we aren't lazy, we just trust the system far too much.

This is the problem with America not stupidity or ignorance but their attentions are focused on other things. When they get off work, you bet they are going to kick their feet up and relax with a football game or idol.

All you can do is show your friends the truth and have them show their friends the truth. The majority of the world is just uninformed.

We will get there, not everybody is a stupid as you think or you'd have billions and would be taking advantage of them just like the TPTB are doing to us at this very moment.

You need to wake up, and realize at the end of the day we are all humans.

There's no you, me, him, or her.

It's the stupid people vs the people who have become aware.

I'm not saying I know all the answers because no one does, BUT there are some things in life, which is just common sense to know, such as you don't get a vaccine just because a few thousand have died from it within the past 6 months, and they want OVER 3 Billion people to get vaccinated.

I believe that terrorists attack american soil. Im not too surprised either as we had been funding these guys during the 80's only to have to turn our backs and turn on them when they didnt suit the american agenda.

What "proof"? Alot of people have presented things they would consider "proof" and evidence to their own liking when it merely turns out to be a flawed analysis or their own assumptions. People hold different opinions about the swine flu vaccine. Really it comes down to assumptions. The in dividuals who speculate a greater swine flu conspiracy do so on assumption. The individuals who dont see any issue with the swine flu vaccine, do so over trust. Both sides are assumptive. Waving the "stupidity" flag around doesnt fly as both sides cant account necessarily for the solid evidence to their beliefs.

I agree though that nobody should be forced to take the vaccines, but obviously if there is the possibility of a plague going around, and it has happened in the past, there is the complication of what those concerned should do.

I agree with you there. That fact above does actually have evidence and common sense is needed. Why should Iran be attacked if Israel holds 200 undeclared WMD's, when it is just as much of a threat? Hypocrisy I agree.

Nature certainly did its business during the spanish plague of 1918 which took out 50 million people. There are those who feel something should be done and those who dont. You dont want to trust government vaccines but you trust them in military defense?
