1ste and the 90th parallel. Magnitute >7.0, ?????????
sorry being a novice, where in the world is that supposed to be??
and as far as I know the UK isn't on a fault line, but HAS had a few minor earthquakes over the last couple of years.
Now my question is this: If it is so easy to predict a large-ish quake around a full moon, why aren't people in quake-prone areas aware of this? I don't mean the people in SoCal should flee for the plains every month, but wouldn't they be a little more alert during full moons? Or is there perhaps something more to it?

People are too quick to hop on and accept a "prediction" as truth without looking at the science behind it.
