Iran has brought down an unidentified shining object over the Persian Gulf

It definitely looks like 3 objects, possibly joined as they don't change orientation with each other. I don't see that as being "produced" in the slightest. In fact, it's most frustratingly un-produced. I wish everyone who carried a camcorder also carried a tripod!

Thanks! I was able to take a look at the video now. Tubular bells!! But i'd rather had the original audio.

Don't know what to say. There's no way we can know for sure that this video belongs to the report on the Press TV website. And no matter how much we analyze the video, we won't be able to tell what it is. The one thing we probably can conclude from it that whatever we see on the video are not spyplanes or any UAV. So for me that leaves two possible options (assuming the video is for real). 1. It is all a setup / hoax. 2. Iran shot a UFO

Instead, it collided with one of escorting planes, a US-made F-5E, and both crashed to the ground in flames. All seven crewmen were killed.

You do realize that when a video is put on youtube, and audio is added to the video OR is playing in the background while the video is being made that the person(s) uploading the video MUST give credit to whomever the audio is owned by.

If no credit is given, youtube automatically will add a pop-up to the video giving information on the audio (most of the time it's obviously music of some sort). However, I could guess that maybe somehow the copyright of the music/audio of the video we've seen of these or this object could have been embedded into the source code, video, or whatever else. Therefore youtube, who has the original audio, would automatically send out the information on the audio/music to someone who emailed them.

So that should explain why you received the email you did.

Furthermore, I believe this is either 3 peculiar objects that can stay in sync with one another very well making it technology we have no information about, or it's 3 fuselages like someone else stated that are connected.

If you look at the picture with the idea of it possibly being an aircraft with 3 fuselages you will notice that even though there seems to be space between each 'spot' or 'orb' there seems to be the same color linking them all together in a small line (which would go along with the theory of it being one aircraft). But IMHO I couldn't tell you 100% what it is, and neither can anyone else at this time (unless they are privy to more info than we are).

Ive followed this story now for a few days, it's been covered on a few news channels and, reading between the lines, my opinion is that Iran embarrasingly lost their only AWAC (call it karma after the presidents comments). I think this is the only real story, the ufo story, imo, was released after the AWAC crash and is either a red herring or more likely an ill informed version of the original crash.

My guess, we'll hear no more of the ufo's but more details will emerge of the AWAC crash which appears to be an accident that occured immediately following the military parade and has eyewitness accounts of the incident.

Personally, I find it interesting that we have no word from any of Iran's friends on this.

Nothing from Syria.........

Nothing from Russia on this............

Nothing from China on this..........

PEOPLE, drones are not bright shiny metal in appearance. They are painted a combination of gray/blue to be "LESS" visible against the sky.

Looking for holes in their radar and what kind of SAMs they would use to take down this decoy that we wanted them to take down. Thats why we made it shiny. It would be funny if they were dumb enough to even use their new S-300s from Russia.

Why has Iran not gone public with we shot down an (American/Israeli or whoever's) drone.

Adem-a-jihad would have a field day with that.

He could go on and on about how the superior Iranian military brought down (fill in wester nation/allie)'s drone.

Of course, to be accurate, it would require two Iranian planes crashing into each other in the background.

Easy. because they havent a freakin clue what they shot down. They just know something was up there and it was bright and shiny and up to no good. You also must remember that iran is a very paranoid lot right now with an itchy finger because they have no idea when and if they are going to be hit. They prob shot down some weather balloons but are too embarassed to admit what "those shiny objects" were.
