Life is just an Illusion.

I used to think i understood that statement.

Our physical plane is very well an illusion. It is not real. You see, sound is just a vibration until it is interpretated (sp?) by the brain. Objects are just light until they are interpretated by the brain.

That makes sense. The world is an illusion, that is interpretated by the brain. But what does that make the brain?

The brain turns vibrations and light into something more "digestable" that creates the reality we live in.

But what is the brain then?

I used to think the brain did nothing, it was just the physical representation for the Soul, and that everything the brain did, was just the Soul.

After questioning it more and more, the more i can't get my head around it.

Someone, explain to me how the world is an illusion.

Explain the Matrix to me.

Teach me.
Show me.
Enlighten me.

Technically 'you' and 'me' are just a concept, an illusion created by the mechanical animal struggling to understand its own circuitry. Religiously speaking you are a soul but let's forget about that for a moment because we don't see our souls either. Nobody knows where the soul is. If you cut off your hand, and you have a soul you will not lose your soul, right? So what are you? Where do you exist? You are like a lap and you know you have a lap when you're sitting down but when you stand up it's gone. You are a concept created by the machine to understand its own programming.

That's my take.

the heart is the soul. The brain is the antenna. the body is the vessel we inhabit.

the world itself is not an illusion. The society and system we live in is an illusion. The true "god" on the earth is nature.

Reconnect with nature and you will fully reconnect with your inner self or your soul.

I like what Bill Hicks had to say about this, "all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves."

My personal belief is in agreement with this quote. The entire cosmos is one massive hologram, meaning if you try and divide it, you keep getting smaller wholes. IMO, consciousness is the only thing that is not an illusion.

Rather than show you how the world is an illusion, it would be easier for you to see it yourself. All the answers you seek are inside. Only so much can be empirically understood, the rest has to be understood through direct insight. If you want to see past the illusion of perceived reality, study the words of the old masters. The "Tao Te Ching" is a very good read and can be found freely floating around the internet. Be well and Namaste to you too.

The illusion of the matrix is a reaction to what you percieve literally and respond to emotionally.

Every action has an equal and opposing reaction.

this whole thing was an attempt to seperate from the source... it hasnt been much fun ...kinda was a bad idea...

How can life not be an illusion and death be the opposite? They are two sides of the same coin. Heads and Tails are both illusions created by our limited understanding. At microscopic levels the coin does not appear to have different sides.

Well actually, its MY illusion. You see, you are all just a figment of MY imagination. I created all of you. Through my powers of manifestation i have also created this entire world.
Just the other day i was telling my girlfriend how I manifest, and how i thought life was beginning to get boring, and now i wanted to see some alien activity to make life more interesting. Now google had showed us UFO doodles Twice!

Personally the 1st thing that got me to look deeper into the spiritual side of things was quantum mechanics. I had no Idea that we're a bunch of atom held together by NOTHING. It's not that I didn't know, I just never really thought about it. Just think about the fact that when you really get to the core of things we're actually just energy.

could it be possible that when we die, our energy goes towards creating other parts of the universe?

Yes, but if we are just an concept created by the machine, then so is the universe, thus making the whole world an illusion. What i'm asking, is what is behind this illusion. Within every illusion is a performer, and this perform is God. But the illusion must be based upon something. What i want to know, is why this illusion is here, and how i can proove it. I know it's here, i just can't see it.

Nature is an illusion. Nature is life, and life is natural. I am life, and i am an illusion. The gateway out of this illusion, or more preferable through it is inside me.

I know we are all one. But we are all one experiencing the same consciousness is a way i haven't put it. Everything changes when you put it into words. But where does the soul tie into this? I understand we are all one, but at the same time, we are all different. We each have a goal, but if we were all exactly one then we'd be doing the same thing.

How about you think of it this way.

The universe is the body.
We are each a different organ, cell, blood vessel, whatever. We each perform a different think, but at the same time that thing is to keep one other thing working. This other thing is the illusion.
