If we think back to the months prior to 9/11 this is exactly how it started. Remember, they hit us in 93 and 01. The first years of the presidency to judge response. Clinton did not pull the trigger and we would up with the COle. Bush pulled the trigger and we got Iraq and Afghanistan. It will be curious to see what happens when there is an attack on US soil.

I still say holiday season (Halloween on) and it will be a college event or Wal Marts. Have we all forgotten this guy...

oh gee....the big and mighty United States of America will need even more 100s of billions of dollars to protect us all from those enemies we never see.

Regardless of what it is, i doubt that is very real terrorists. If they do exist, they are happily sitting in their homes watching the USSA crumble from corruption, fraud, cronyism, genocide and the onset of fascism. Would be terrorists would have to do nothing at all, if their intent is to destroy our wonderful republic.

Sorry for the sarcasm, but that's the truth as I see it. If this is a "big" deal, then we can expect to have more of our civil rights and freedoms eroded.

I suspect they are beginning to create a cover for a potential fall (significant, but not necessarily a crash) in the stock markets. The markets are such a joke, and much worse than the worse casino.

Our country is F'ed! Literally.

What ever happened to Al Qaeda's #2 man? Isn't he is always the one making the threats of mass death America? Can't remember if he was supposedly killed or not... Though I do know that Al Qaeda has stated that they will not rest till 4 million people have died and 2 million children as well...

Last week a whistle blower gave the date tues sept 15, 2009 as a date he had heard something BIG was going to happen...
then another Said friday they heard that this weekend could be big in the midwest due to some training.

now we are hearing the FBI preemptively talking about a terror suspect with bomb making capabilities who came from the midwest and is now back in the midwest...

something may happen tomorrow...

Ramadan ends 9/19, Night of Power 9/18. Rosh Hashanah 9/19. They will wait for the new moon blessing from the Imams.

Its one way to scare us again....thats why they are telling us... One of these days they're going to make good one of these stories.

As big of a fan I am of conspiracy theories there is just far too many of you here that are way too quick to jump to conclusions. In relation to this and other current events like swine flu for example, you'll often see people here say something like it was purposely reported this way to cause panic, yet its only those here on ATS who I see panic. Saying that this new terror bust does worry me just like the swine flu "conspiracy" worries me but not because I've heard about it on the news but taken time to research and gain some knowledge related to it. My point is I work with many people who deeply rely on and only get there info from MSM and they're never anywhere near as concerned about things in the news as I am. The average citizen out there in America doesn't have all the information we have here at ats in regards to putting some of the puzzle pieces together from each and every news headline. These people simply listen to the news and don't make much more of it unlike we "conspiracy theorist."

Other than that I think worst case scenario would be:
The new Osama messages has actually been the message multiple groups of terrorist sleeper cells been waiting years for. I would imagine that most if not all the members in such cell would have been in the US prior to the 9/11 attack on the WTC. The bust in Queens might been part of the group or if we want to give the terrorist some credit for being intelligent it was intentional to send the feds on a wild goose chase. (Drug lords & Mobsters have pulled it off before) If today's bust in Queens and other events (Coast Guard incident, Toronto bomb, Nuke Warnings, etc) in the last few days are in any way shape or form related to sleeper cells in America it's likely that we'll see what they've been planning very soon as they should be feeling a sense of urgency. Lets hope not!

But no one is panicking. We just want to be aware and alert. It's not about fear. I think we are all adults and aren't the scardy cats you are dreaming of. If you want to be a skeptic go back to sleep. Meanwhile those who know Islamic terrorism will be doing their jobs.

Everyone knows the next attack will be a dozen attacks in US and EU. That's common knowledge that has been out there for years. The 7 phase plan clearly lays it out.

As for the swine flu, all governments have biological weapons in their arsonnels.

On Saturday, I thought the police were doing a big drug bust or something. They had quite a few officers stationed at one location near as I could tell and additional officers posted on the blocks surrounding the area. I'm being vague about the locations on purpose but I wonder if it was related?

Oh, and for the conspiracy people, exactly due north of the raid is a Kissena Lake where a UFO was sighted. That north / south stretch seems a hot spot of paranormal / alien activity.

Well I'm pretty sure most of the scardy cats are deep inside there bunkers already. I think you're missing my point. All I'm saying is so many here is so quick to say its "media hype to cause panic." And my point is I don't think anybody in America gets very concerned (IMO concerned enough to really be prepared for whatever) at all about what is going on in the world.

The only skeptics I see here are the people who really think that "a terrorist" is just some sort of fairy tale portrayed by the media so we the people will willing give up more of our freedoms to our corrupt government.

As for myself regardless of how corrupt our government might be and abuse the fear instilled in its people I still believe deeply that there is fanatics across the oceans sitting in a cave somewhere right now thinking of a way to blow stuff up.
