I assure you that AQ is more than 500 men.

They were talking about the core leadership of AQ at 200-500 depending on who you ask. But for everyone of those 500 is somebody else to take their place so yes AQ is much bigger than 500.

Something fishy indeed. Why would they send fighters over such an area as Queens? What possible good could it do? They fly too fast to see anything and that's all they could possibly do is to look. So what's the deal? Looks like a dramatic attempt to raise fears.

Man, I don't know how people continue living in the States. There's more drama than I care for here in Europe, and we have almost nothing compared to what you guys tolerate over there.

Brooklyn, Toledo, RI.

What are fighters going to do? Are we expecting another multiple hijacking?

I too witnessed the RI sighting. I counted 4 of them though. Saw it from the MA/RI border around 7pm. Very LOUD!

Want my guess? Stinger missiles in the hands of terrorists. Several houses in Queens. What is in Queens? JFK and LaGuardia. Why have fighters flying around? To throw chafe to attract the stinger missiles to redirect them away from passenger airplanes. Just a thought.

If the terrorists saw the heat on....they might have just launched some missiles out the window in a feeble, desperate attempt.

Plus, my Masonic Lodge is the home of the Tea Party meetings, we organized the event

What the hell? Are you serious? I knew something stunk to high heaven about the whole tea party thing. How's that going to affect your lodge's tax exempt status... yeah I know, it won't. Freemasonry needs banned, or taxed back into realism, and their membership publicly outed so people can see what real political affiliation and occultism is all about. No don't take it personally. Sorry but formenting political malcontent is taxable.

I'm just guessing here of course, as all of us are at this point really, but I don't think they are playing around this time guys. They need us to believe in their boogeyman to further their agenda, so we get a warning from Osama Bin Dead for Eight Years (Orwell's Goldstein), and this time sure enough it hits the fan. Too many people are waking up to the bologna for them to continue unabated anymore. All the pieces are in place, all the legislation has been penned, now they just need us to be so scared we won't try to stand in their way. I hate to say it but another false flag is just what they need to implement the whole shebang. When it's all said and done, I bet they will be more careful about dancing and high fiving each other in public this time though.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of fighters are you guys seeing flying around up there, that could maybe tell us a little about what they are planning on using them for. Some fighters are interceptors and some are Air to Ground, etc.

my guess is they have some one in custody and they have suspects on the loose with the bombs and have no idea what the target is, and the suspect in custudy is refuesing to talk, so the FBI is going to take him before congress and let them interogate the suspect! Im sure if Face Lift pelosi smiles and asks politly the beans will be spilt!

I cant believe this is on top of the forum.

there have been no arrests, i think its supposed to scare people or something.

www.cnn.com...

the investigation is ongoing, but they didn't have enough evidence to arrest anyone yet.

Edit: maybe there is more to this... What was with the box?

Twitchy,

Freemasons are self proclaimed defenders of democracy. Despite everything said or written about the Masons, when push comes to shove they will fight against the government when/if they decide that the government has become nothing but tyrannical.

They may be the first or the last organization to stand, but when they feel it is time they will stand.

And for the record, I am not a Mason.

Makes sense. A few years back the students pulled over in the Everglades were thought to have stingers in their car. I can confirm stingers (Saudi Stellas) are a possibility.
They wouldn't make a feeble attempt though, I think they would go for the secondary launch plan.
This all could be placement before the shooting starts. On the battlefield there is a period of assessment before the actual attack.
Thanks for the thought provoking post.

Well, it's off the BBC front page now.

On the subject of why people are quoting and linking the MSM...

There are not many places on-line where "breaking news" is discussed. I usually come here first and trawl through the ideas, discussions and links about any story to get as much varied info as possible.
But, doesn't it suggest something if all the MSM are reporting it, and there's little elsewhere?
Couldn't that alone be a sign that this info is being "supplied" to the MSM by TPTB?

As for the incident itself, these people could just as easily be friends of a person who posts videos on YT, or a person who posts theories on here, or writes a blog, or attends Tea Parties, or is a member of a militia...
In this day and age, you can be classed as a "suspect" just for disagreeing with government opinion.

There might not be any plot, just a poor guy who has an opinion that was close to a fact or two and the authorities picked up on it.

Whatever the story, I don't think we'll know much about it, unless it's in their interests to scare the public. Your media do not chase stories any more, they receive and report the "official line".

Your media are not reporters, they are the voice of the leadership.

It feels like they are starting to use the terrorist card again. Here in Sweden we recently could read about some terror suspects that they catch in Pakistan. Maybe they will try to use and create fear by letting us believe that it really is the terrorists who is the great threat to the world, again.

Speculation, while perhaps not always necessarily useful, does not mean one has given in to fear or is allowing oneself to be controlled by fear. Likewise, encouragement to not speculate isn't always automatically an attack against the speculators. I just thought I'd add that, since a lot of people seem to jump on one another for speculating, or for saying not to be fearfully compelled to speculate.

With that said, why this story concerns me is because of a) the congressional DHS committee briefing. I admittedly don't know how common such briefings are, but that this isn't a regularly scheduled one, and comes just a day after the raids seems to suggest something that the FBI feels warrants the immediate attention of DHS, at least in my mind's speculation. And b) the fact that even though no arrests were made, they still went ahead with this briefing in an immediate fashion. That tells me that it wasn't something that could wait, or that despite not making any arrests, what they found or suspect still amounts to more than "nothing."

Further speculation suggests to me that that could mean one of two (I'm sure there are more possibilities, but these are the first two off the top of my head) things:

1) As some have suggested, a politicized attempt at stirring fear or support for a specific agenda.

2) Some credible threat that rises to the level of federal law enforcement and is of interest to DHS is, if as they said not "imminent," at least "urgent," and remains open, and unresolved.

That may not mean anything at all, of course. These types of threats could be omnipresent for all we know, and as I said, I don't know how often they report to congress. The immediacy and apparent urgency of the briefing, particularly given the tighter oversight of authorizing domestic surveillance and the possibility that their failure to procure any persons or new data (that we know of from the media at least) might be why they approached the committees, suggests - at least potentially - something of importance or great concern.

These are not assertions on my part, but merely conjecture and hypothesis.
