Dr. Peterson's Solid Track Record of Accomplishment Expected to Strengthen the Company and Contribute Significantly to the Company's Expansion of Digital Products and Services
Santa Clara, CA, October 29, 2009 – MediaG3, Inc. (Pinksheets: MDGC), a leading developer of broadband wireless products and services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Pete Peterson to the Company's Board of Directors.
An experienced technologist, Dr. Peterson has over 30 years experience in software design and architecture. Among Dr. Peterson's notable accomplishments are the design and development of the first commercially available microprocessor based computer in 1977. During 1979 through 1986 Dr. Peterson conducted research in the design and computerization of Electro-Acupuncture diagnostic equipment. The Acupath-1000, first delivered to the French Academy of Sciences in 1980, represented his pioneering of the first commercially utilized 3.5 inch floppy disk drive.
In 1977 Dr. Peterson founded CyberDyne, a company that designed, developed, manufactured and sold the first commercially available microprocessor based computer which was created to include an alphanumeric QWERTY style keyboard. His revolutionary design was also the first computer equipped with a built in printer, a 16 segment character display, a built in operating system, and 3 built in high level programming languages. His computer design preceded the official release of the Apple One by 2 years, the Commodore Pet by 2 years, and the introduction of the Radio-Shack TRS-80 by 3 years.
Since the early 1970s, Dr. Peterson developed substantial manufacturing, scientific, and business relationships internationally while working for firms in Taiwan, Mainland China, Russia, the Ukraine, and Hong Kong, to name just a few. Simultaneously, while establishing worldwide international relationships, Dr. Peterson worked with numerous U.S. Governmental Agencies by acquiring and providing intelligence data.

Dr. Peterson has developed a proprietary high speed micro processor which will be contributed to MediaG3's technology portfolio. This new micro processor will enhance the capabilities 4G and future 5G WiMAX enabled networks, allowing all digital devices to see each other on all operating systems. "The future of broadband access will be in convergence and MediaG3 is making the investments today to ensure that our products and services stay on the cutting edge of what subscribers want tomorrow," says MediaG3, Inc. President Joseph Anzalone. "Where a few short years ago, consumers had to have 2-3 devices with them at all time, be it smart phone, lap top computer, and a multi-media device. We see tomorrow being the age of full and seamless convergence, where the consumer can move seamlessly between devices for their services without traditional barriers and limitations. MediaG3 will facilitate this next generation of service demand and Dr. Peterson's technology will be an important part of this effort," added Mr. Anzalone.
