I always thought the Hydra was pretty cool. Reminds me of "You are the Hero" books.

Um... technically politicians, Michael Jackson etc aren't creatures...

Also, define "best"...

That pic of the Hydra kinda reminds me of the beast in Revelation, with the 7 heads and 10 horns...

My fave mythical creature is prolly Minotaur, followed by dragons

Technically humans/animals are creatures.... and Michael Jackson isn't human or animal I guess hes sort of a golem.

Wizard! Wizards are the coolest.

My test result was a banshee; Freaky picture.

Although, I do like the idea of being a Jacko

Hm, I would have to pick...me. I'm so cool, and so powerful that I could beat anyone. Now, if I had to pick a SECOND favorite... It would be a cross between a warewolf, dragon, and vampire. I don't thing warewolves can change on their own. From all the movies I've seen, it happened involuntarily when there was a full moon.

I would have to say the PHOENIX.
I once had a dream of a phoenix and a dragon battling it out. I wanted a tattoo like that ever since

Besides it rises from the ashes, how cool is that

A politician.

Nasty creature, disguises itself in human form but It's mouth always gives it away. Steer clear If you come accross one of these buggers.

Winged cats.

They could easily bring civilization to a screeching halt as we try to
coax the cute l'il things out of the tops of the trees when they wake up after
a nap and forget they can fly...

Purring kittens whirring through the air like hummingbirds...
bwahahaha

Chimerians are neato. From he Greek meaning "she-goat" the Chimera is a fire-breathing creature that has the body of a goat, the head of a lion and the tail of a serpent. Some sources have represented the Chimera with three heads (the lion's head as the main, then the goat's head sprouted from its back, and the serpent's or Dragons head on its tail), but the popular myth tells of the single, fire-vomiting head. The very unlikely aspect of the chimera has gradually turned its name into a synonym of a vain dream.

The best mythical creature is the tall gorgeous blonde with the high IQ -- wait I'm speaking about myself? Does that make me mythical or legendary?

I am probally being a little bias, but I would have to choose the Jersey Devil. The thing practicly lives in my backyard. Who knows if its actually real or not, but there have been a few times when I refused to go into the woods alone at night.

DRAGON, definitely the dragon.... As depicted in literature though, not just as some creature, but as an intelligent one...

VAMPIRE is a close second....

A Vampire of course

But, does anyone know the name of that japanese creature that hides under bridges and it looks like a naked man? I think it has like a bowl on the top of its head filled with water and the only way to stop it is to bow to it and wait for it to return the bow and the water will spill, or something like that.
