I love the assumptions on this thread! "Most of the Obama protesters are just angry white racists!" That's just absurd. Opposing Marxist policies gets you tagged a racist. This is right out of the playbooks of communism and fascism. White people are the new Jews!

What also amazes me about this thread is the lack of moderation! Just a few weeks earlier I was castigated for saying far less! Of course, I was criticizing Obama, so that makes it okay, right?

Man, this place is layer upon layer of hypocrisy!

Thank God someone else noticed. I was begining to think it was just happening in the south! I have noticed this happening a lot lately and very openly aggressive. It seems like it is "open season" on white people who do not go with the status quo. Very frightening to me. I try to see everyone as a person (I being pink do not care) not a color. Very sad it always comes down to black and white...

Lets fix this a little. Its open season on anyone who is against this administration. It does not matter if you are from one ethnic group or another, and it does not matter if you are Republican, Democrat, or Independent. What we are looking at is the media and administration using stereotypes to place individuals into groups. If you disagree with a specific issue, they will creatively label you accordingly. They are being discriminative towards others with another opinion. It does not mater to them who they are fighting against. Obama's administration and the news media wants to label people, so they can pass policy and keep themselves in power.

What happened to tolerance?

I do not know you, so, I can't say I would be happy or upset. If you looked like a thug, or acted like a thug, I'd be pretty upset. If you looked like someone who had their head on straight and acted the same, I'd be ok with that.

The only reason that I would worry about race or religion is I think it makes things harder to be a cohesive unit. Marriage is hard enough when you come from the same socioeconomic background, change up core upbringings or religion, and it gets even harder.

Oh, and my roomate in college was black. She is also an electrical engineer whose family also had advanced degrees. If her son came and wanted to date my daughter, and was like her, I'd be totally fine with it

What a pile of crap. If Obama was 100% white, I would not revert and start kissing his ass like you do. I've lived in Illinois for 55 years and ran for US Congress. Obama was a nobody until just a few years ago. He is someone who voted 193 "present" instead of Yea or Nay, just so he would not be known for taking a stand. The only time he took a stand was to insure that when aborted babies still lived, that they would be left unattended to insure that they would die. He is a scum-bucket.

Well, the fact is most individuals who dislike Obama are indeed racist...especially at those lovely intelligent town hall meetings.

They refuse to accept him as their president because of his African American descent. I know it's difficult to grasp, but it's true.


I know A LOT of Obama haters. What do they hate exactly? His color. Nothing more.
