Let's hope it's not something disrupting the electromagnetic field.

Let's hope it's not some kind of poison. That would probably end up affecting other animals.

It could be West Nile Virus. I have seen a couple of birds just fall out of the sky from it.

There are quite a few bacteria and virii that can kill birds and I'd say
some of it is that.

Some of it is ppl killing of birds that swoop like magpies, or birds that
come in and excrete all over their various things on their property.

A high freq noise deterrent would be preferred.

The magnetic field is in a HUGE state of flux right now,
we are near a magnetic polar flip and the field is collapsing
rapidly and we have HUGE anomalies in the field.

Magnetic Storm - The Earth's Invisible Shield

Another thing that may be killing the birds is they are eating insects
that have been affected by nano particles and the nano particles
are killing the birds as well.

Nano particles killing massive amounts of insects of many types

Again pollution of many types is known to cause problems for birds
and many other of natures creatures.

As nano tech is new, it is poorly tested, and this seems to evidence
that QUITE well.

This new danger needs to be rapidly addressed as once these enter
the food chain it is possible they will not break down for VERY long
periods of time, ie. what kills now can kill again for a long period
of time and end up even in humans.

I agree about the magnetic storm and surprised at the nano particles. This is an odd one to say the least.

We have a polar shift coming and also HAARP playing God with our ionosphere blasting holes through the magnetosphere. Combined we have a serious problem!

Thanks for the links.

West central Florida here.
Since they sprayed for the Med Fly here a few years ago, not only did the Bees vanish, but the number of birds greatly decreased. I saw one bird this year. I live in an area that has lots of trees, so there should be lots of birds.

Silent Spring

Since Silent Sspring was written there has come to be 75,000 synthetic chemicals in use.

The 100 Year LIe

We should colonize other planets??
What a nefarious idea.
A species that has not learned to live within its means would be a cancer upon the Universe.

Maybe, just maybe, the planet really is undergoing a terribe ecological catastrophe due to human overuse/misuse of resources and relentless development of what was previously wilderness. Just maybe.

Oh noes! Heresy on ATS! Environmentalism only exists to sell Al Gore DVDs and nothing more! The whole thing is a conspiracy! Anyone who claims there MIGHT be actual environmental consequences to buldozing old-growth forest in million-acre lots and building massive suburbs and factories must be some kind of hippie with hair down to his waist, right?

Why do people on this board seem to have such a hard time believeing that we are, indeed, killing this planet, by hook or by crook? True, life itself is very strong and likely to trundle along for billions of years more...but not necessarily with humans on board.

Yes indeed, human overuse.....
due to....
human overpopulation.

overpoulation

"Stabilizing U.S. population size is more important to energy conservation than discontinuing the production of S.U.V.s.
In a new study on population and energy use, Leon Kolankiewicz estimates that 88 % of the increase in energy use from 1970 to now was due to population growth, and, ìIf the United States were entirely dependent on renewable energy sources, it would still not be able to support an ever-growing population indefinitely.î

Yes I love birds as well. There are a lot less now than in the 90's!

Thanks sanchos,

Very odd isnt it? It appears that most are being poisoned. I'm still looking for any rational reason to do so. Crazy!

Well from what I know is that if the globe has an increase of only 5 degrees avaerage it could kill off life forms. It's hard to imagine but true. I think it's a combination of both, perhaps.
