Soory. There is no instructions on how to disrupt meetings. Only a guide to get heard.

Anything else?

Just opinion here but no one is speaking about what I believe is obvious.
Hopefully not to far off topic.

This is just another tax program hid behind the guise of healthcare. Obvious, that is my question? What has this congress and president done in 8 months now besides raise taxes and spend money we do not have? Is this just to include Medicare into another huge bureaucracy to hide the fact that we cannot pay for any of this sh*t? Or just another power grab.

1 Cigarette Tax
2 Cap and Trade-Energy Tax
3 Healthcare-HC tax
4 What else have they done or worked on besides raising taxes add to my list

All of this discussion is rather moot, except for the fact that I believe its another ploy to divide and conquer the American People. Or am I being pedantic or imprecise?

Im getting sick and tired of this nonsense, im hearing everyday that protesters are paid off by Foxnews and are ordered to disrupt meetings. Liberals are crying because people dislike the government hand outs. We have welfare where the lazy get free money, low low income government built housing for inner cities aka Projects and other # they can live for cheap or free. Now to finish it off Obama Care where they again can escape the burdens of having to pay for something else.

now onto the other mess

Obama Acorn Affiliated Enforcers entering the town hall meetings bullying people, ordering the cops around. this is absurd. These are peaceful protesters arguing against the Obama Care theee people are both Democrats and Republicans and Independents that are against it.

Libs get over it, its not racist to go against Obama
Its choice you arent gonna take it away. Just like you like Obama thats fine im not gonna take it from you. Dont agree but whatever.

Maybe i will go out on the limb and say libs are racist for not voting McCain or going agaisnt are protests...YEA I SAID IT!!! NOW WHAT!

I find it funny/ironic that Unions, who have perhaps the best healthcare coverage overall in American Industry, are willing to support the Govt. basically taking that coverage away from them and giving back lesser coverage. They are also supporting policies (cap and trade, auto bailout) that have and will eliminate hundreds of thousands of good paying jobs. It's very Orwellian to me, frankly.

Well Storm they should join the debate in a civilized manner and express their opinion.

An example...You started this thread. Now let's say that I Leo had the power to shut down your thread or I decided to intimidate and stifle discussion by being a real pain in the a**. My actions were then responsible for limiting or ending your thread and denying people of their right to read and participate.

That is not free speech or democracy.

But Leo, what do you say when Republican ideas are basically frozen out of committee by Democrats, never to even make it to the floor of Congress for consideration??? Who is stifling discussion here??

White supremists and racist because we don't fawn all over obama and worship him? White supremists and racist because we don't agree with his policies, ideology, his all out effort to complete the raping and pillaging of the American people as the former potus' have done?

I think you enjoy coming up with such absolute bull# because you can't stand the fact that your messiah is not my messiah and never will be. I don't dislike obama because he is mulatto or multiracial whatever you wanna call it ; I dislike him because he's a con man, a liar, a deceiver, etc.

So take YOUR racist bull# and stick it where the sun doesn't shine

Unions are the last ones who should be supporting this type of healthcare "reform". Don't they already have the best health care possible????

Someone else mentioned "Brownshirts" in the thread....and boy does this administration have a lot in common with "that" administration.

It's going to get ugly, I'm afraid.

The reason why labor unions are no longer needed is the very fact that there are so MANY laws on the books now to protect workers....this isn't the 1920's (although a rehash of 1939-1945 is looking imminent) anymore....The unions most certainly work for the Democratic party as shills, as one post put it.

I doubt anybody on this site cares that Obama is black, because this isn't a site full of non-thinking neanderthals. They care about the fact that he is a Socialist and is now using Fascist tactics to intimidate his opposition.

Under this plan Unions are exempt from the take over of their health care plans unless the companies they have contracts with push the issue. That won't be easy because the unions will strike before they allow those companies to dump them into the Socialist care program. My brother teamsters are already talking about safe guards to maintaining the present health care plan we have!

S&F

With the financial committee passing this nightmare of a healthcare bill, what does it matter anymore?

The people spoke, DC ignored. The people were polled, DC ignored.

As a matter of fact, the people are REALLY going to get polled now. Strong arm tactics are just the bullies way of pressing home his/their point.

Well kids, you got your hope and change

HI Mike, with the passing of this new bill, people don't realize it will end up a merger of many bills in one.
