My friend you forgot to add the link, unless the tube link is the news stories.
I am very surprised that unions are to take to this task, after all what the unions had to do with all this.
I am just wondering, still when you have angry people nobody is going to stop them from protesting.

Maybe you guys haven't seen this yet, or maybe you have, but check this out, this is one of the dots that leads me to think the way that I do about this situation.
Really?
Now I'm not trying to say it was intentional or anything, but the similarities are striking.
Then when I read threads like this, it makes me question my sanity.
It's really coming down to it.

I've noticed that the majority of these "Protesters" at these meetings are senior citizens or fast approaching that age. The anti-protesters are most likely not going to be seniors and this is going to start the chilling effect on these senior tax payers and get exactly what Raham and his jack boots want. They are going to bully and threaten and, I predict, injure a few before this is finished! These unionists have no dog in the hunt and should not be allowed to intimidate these brave and correct citizen protesters! I am a union member and would NEVER participate in the tactics of these brownshirts!

Unions function as labor cartels. A labor cartel restricts the number of workers in a company or industry to drive up the remaining workers' wages, just as the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) attempts to cut the supply of oil to raise its price. Companies pass on those higher wages to consumers through higher prices, and often they also earn lower profits. Economic research finds that unions benefit their members but hurt consumers generally, and especially workers who are denied job opportunities.

The union people have as much right to attend these town halls as the GOP "concerned citizens" bused in by insurance company lobbyists do...
BTW the term for this stuff is "astroturfing" - as in "fake grassroots"
I thought it was kind of sad, especially the old lady at one who was carrying a sign that said "get the Government out of my Medicare!"
What?!?
Texas Sen. John Cornyn, accusing the White House of compiling an "enemies list," has asked President Barack Obama to stop an effort to collect "fishy" information Americans see about a health care overhaul.
Cornyn, who leads the Republicans' Senate campaign effort, said Wednesday in a letter to Obama that he's concerned that citizen engagement on the issue could be "chilled." He also expressed alarm that the White House could end up collecting electronic information on its critics.
"I can only imagine the level of justifiable outrage had your predecessor asked Americans to forward e-mails critical of his policies to the White House," Cornyn wrote.
Cornyn was responding to a post on the White House's blog Wednesday in which users are asked to help stop the spread of disinformation about legislation to overhaul health insurance. The post offers an e-mail address, [email protected], for users to forward anything "on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy."
Look what happened in Dallas at an AARP meeting discussion on Obama’s healthcare nightmare. These senior citizens decided to stand up against it, and the AARP folks didn’t like it one bit. I think Democrats like Nancy Pelosi will have a hard time persuading people these guys were plants from the vast right wing conspiracy “mob

Unions To Take On Conservative Groups Health Care Town Halls
These are fake grassroots people - like Cindy Sheehan, right!? Nope, these are everyday people concerned that we are becoming Venezuela!!! Just look at Barry's poll numbers, sinking like a boat made of stone!

My grandma would be in one of those meetings if she could move around better. She is scared that this healthcare bill is going to affect her in a negative way. What is surprising is that she voted Obama, loves obama, and defends him 100%.
As a matter of fact she says that this is Congresses Bill not Obama's.
Obama and Congress have already assured the unions and their members that they will still be allowed to keep their, by Barry's & Congress' standards, luxury healthcare packages with none of the penalties Barry & Congress are going to impose on all nonunion private healthcare packages.

I just hope they remain verbal fights and they don't break down into physical violence.
Can you imagine?
There are a lot of veterans at those meetings, a lot of older folks, Democrats too, can you imagine the videos of union thugs bulling old men and women?
Oh I forgot, they wont air that on TV.
