Lots of older folks who are already on a socialized health care plan they are not willing to give up. But yet they go and protest against socialized medicine. If ignorance was money this country would have no economic worries whatsoever.

I guess you missed the part about cutting hundreds of billions form medicare? It seems these people are more informed about what is going on than some people.

They know their health care that they have payed into is about to be ripped out from underneath them, and drastically reduce the benefits that they get now.

My friend you forgot to add the link, unless the tube link is the news stories.

I am very surprised that unions are to take to this task, after all what the unions had to do with all this.

I am just wondering, still when you have angry people nobody is going to stop them from protesting.

Not surprising at all. I think lots of people better start checking the connections and The Apollo Alliance Org.

Unions are one of three on the branch of power.

Obama himself is scheduled to be here next week in New Hampshire, at a health care town meeting.

I will be there in the crowd also.

Should be interesting.

The White House confirmed that Obama would hold the town hall on Aug. 11 somewhere in the Portsmouth area. No further details were immediately available.

The president has been traveling to different states to pitch his health care reform plan directly to voters. Last week, he visited North Carolina and Virginia for town hall meetings, and on Wednesday, he was in Indiana.

I find it fascinating how these protest quikly turned into Democrats vs. Republican protests...

At first I was livid that the movements were being hijacked by the MSM and Two Party system..

But now, I simply find it amazing..

Any .. and I mean any, grass roots movement can be utterly pulverized by injecting either party into the mix, then covering it by the MSM.

I have seen a few presidents in my time, but never have I seen one who:

Sets up a special email account for 'snitches' that disagree with him

Calls in his paid-off union thugs as 'enforcers' at town hall meetings.

Disgusting.

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Senate's most powerful Democrat on Thursday scolded health care protesters dogging his party's lawmakers at local meetings, arguing that some critics on the political right have run out of ideas—and ditched their civic manners. Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada accused the protesters of trying to "sabotage" the democratic process.

What on earth is in their drinking water.

Freedom of speech is the democratic process.

I hate unions, being part of one myself, I see all the things that are truly wrong and this is one of them. I pay $600 a year to be a part of my union and a good chunk of that goes to the PAC, (Political Action Commitee). We have several employees who are on LOA's for the PAC and making good money supporting the union's views, (not necessarily every members). Unions are nothing less than organized crime.

You are commendible for your apparent desire for the truth. I would, however, caution you about arguing with people sold on demonic lies. You will just get frustrated, as they do not make any sense, and will not reason. I just read them, and rarely answer. I try to laugh at them. But I also kinda feel sorry for them, the deceived. Like when Obamination was elected. I never thought I would see an illegal alien elected as president, in defiance of the Constitution. I will not really be surprised when he shuts down congress, and makes himself president for life. After all, he, Bush, and Gates, probably others, are in my opinion Nephilim. Things are going to get much MUCH worse on Earth, starting when the twin star Nemesis arrives, and an American city, or the whole country, gets nuked by China and Russia. But we will prevail, and Barrys' forefather, Lucifer, knows it. That is why he is trying his hardest to make things really bad for us. To get at God. He can't win, but he can hurt Him. Remember that some who are defending the Nephilim are still our brothers, and Christ already paid the cost for their lives. They are just hoodwinked. It is not the job of the 'Chosen' to 'save' anyone. Only to be 'witnesses' and tell it like it is. The truth. They will come if they are called. It is not our job to 'save' anyone. Be of good cheer; we have already won this war.

You are right. I have a family member that was required to pay into their union and be a member. If not she was harassed till she joined. The union then supported nothing but liberal political causes with no regards for the conservative union members. Unions = liberal politics.

In this case the Union bosses are simply throwing in their support to Obama on his health care plan to help him win. Obama helps them, they help him. Even though the unions have something to loose as well if they are eventually drawn into Obamacare along with everyone else.

If you noticed the unions came out of the auto bankruptcies, with the largest piece of the pie. The union organizations have the most to gain thru Obama's transformation of the country.Of course they'll support his subversive plans.

Unions To Take On Conservative Groups Health Care Town Halls

Everyone does know the only reason the unions are behind this Democrat sponsored stupidity is because they will not be affected by this 'healthcare' bill, right? Obama and Congress have already assured the unions and their members that they will still be allowed to keep their, by Barry's & Congress' standards, luxury healthcare packages with none of the penalties Barry & Congress are going to impose on all nonunion private healthcare packages. I have a feeling we're gonna see some blood spilled before this is over.

Ferris,
That used to be true that we (Teamsters) had the best benefits of any working group in America. This is no longer the case. When i first joined the Teamsters 27 years ago, We had everything. And i mean everything, Medical, Dental, Vision, even had our lawyers paid for if we needed one. No more. They have reduced all our benefits and most times will just ignore you if you have a problem at work. They have reduced our benefits and in the last three elections have spent 600+ million of our hard earned dues money on Democratic candidates. The unions have ended up being in control of our members health care by proxy and are now nothing but a slush fund for the Democrats rather than the mob!

Zindo

Just thought of something. Democrats and Republicans both are now the mob so I guess nothings really changed but the names!

I will never figure out why the extreme right doesnt want nationalized health care. Being a Firefighter/ET I see where people that dont have health insurance that have to wait so long they go critical.

We have to have some of the most selfish self serving population in the world.

I know its not your fault the insurance companies propaganda machine has made you fearful of this for a long time.

I'm not extreme right, and I don't want socialized medicine in America. AAnd I know many Democrats who feel the same way.

BOT: If there is violence caused by the insertion of these ACORN and union thugs into these meetings, I wonder if Obama could be held crminally responsible for inciting violence?

By your reference to anyone who does not support nationalized health care as "extreme right" pretty much explains where you are coming from, my friend.

I am not extreme right. I don't want any expansion of the federal government, whether it to be to nationalize health care or nationalize dog grooming. Now you might call that extreme right, but I think the proper definition would be libertarian.

No one has a "right" to health care. They have the right to access health care, but not a right to receive it when it is subsidized by others. Why should I pay for the health care of a drug addict, obese person, prostitute or gang member? They have choosen lifestyles that are almost guaranteed to elevate the costs associated with providing them medical care.

Do I think the system needs to be improved? You bet. Do I think it can be done effectively via a 1000+ page bill that our legislators have already indicated that they have not and will not read and our President has indicated that there are significant portions of the bill that he is unfamiliar with? No, I do not. It took Obama longer to pick out a dog for his kids than what he is expecting us to accept as a reengineering of 16% of the US economy. You bet folks are pissed off.

Its not as if this cast of Keystone Cops has a great track record that would generate faith.

I gotta agree with you, I can see this getting ugly. I mean, how dare normal people protest against BO? Just who do they think they are?
