Perhaps if you would actually read some literature instead of spewing the liberal propaganda of which you are brainwashed or your basic high school knowledge of the Constitution, you might have realized that since the Constitution does not directly specify the definition of natural born citizen, one of the interpretations is that the father must be a U.S. citizen in order for the child to be considered natural born. Of course the other two interpretation are that both parents must be citizens or just being born in the U.S. is sufficient.

Nothing you said makes that sentence any less stupid. It does not say that according to varying definitions it might be both or just dad. It clearly says that both must be "especially" the dad. You can see what it says as can we all. Rewriting it to mean something else does not make it less stupid, it just makes you more implicit in trying to cover for that stupidity.

Thanks a ton for your pointless new interpretation but it says what it says - both must, especially dad. You do not even explain that, you just wrote something else. That is not even a good try. I have come to expect at least a little more from you.

Look, as I did not write that sentence I don't know for sure what the poster meant but it is not hard to figure out that it is probably as I described. It just seems like you intentionally don't want to give the OP the benefit of the doubt because then you might have to make a reasonable argument. Clearly the poster just had a typo but we can let him/her clarify.

Unfortunately my friend your comments makes you no different than the reasoning you use against the man you are venting against. You are both sides of your own coin. It is obvious you are motivated by feelings, unfortunately there by you can not have an opinion that can be taken seriously, don't get me wrong i take your feeling seriously, just not your opinion. Your feelings clearly cause you to choose the facts to allow you to continue to justify the feeling. Its like boiling the kettle, keep applying the heat it eventually has to blow steam or it will explode. Turn off the heat see through calm and clear waters and the truth rather than your history will be revealed. Maybe you should ask where these feeling come from and then ask do they allow you to be more american or do they blindly lead you into believing you are more american.

I have no problem with people who want to know the president is qualified for the position. I looked at many of the sincere "birthers" questioning. I have looked at the arguments and researched them, the point is i researched them looking for the truth not to reinforce my need to vent. My opinion above is on weather you have an opinion to be taken seriously or a feeling with the insatiable hunger to be fed irrespective of truth.

You are missing the point, i am saying you do not have an opinion to BE taken seriously because it is obviously blinded by your feelings. Your facts are not Facts to be trusted as they are clearly BLINKERED. This site is not here to make you feel better its here to seek the truth. Ok, here is another little bit of interesting evidence which makes you wonder if something nefarious is going on with Hawaii because they "modified" their website in June of 2009.

From the documents I listed below, you want to be concered with the "Primary Documents" section. The first link is a web capture archive from 2006 which shows that the certification of live birth is NOT a valid document for verifing residence by itself. It states that they need the certificate of live birth. The second link shows the current webpage which shows the wording as allowing a certificate of live birth.

Hmm....wonder why they made this change? ** COUGH, Ovomit **

Points of interest from the Cached version:

The primary documents used to show you are of age and a qualified native Hawaiian are:

A certified copy of Certificate of Birth;
A certified copy of Certificate of Hawaiian Birth, including testimonies; or

Same section from the current version:

The cached version does not mention the certification of live birth as being as being a document for qualification without further evidence unlike the current version.

It's funny how they go out of there way to mention numerous times that the certification of live birth is now acceptable.

Again, Hmmm.....wonder why they changed it? We know why, at least I do.

My point of this is that since the state of Hawaii needed more proof than the certification of live birth, which is what Ovomit has shown us, it stands to reason that the citizens of America should need more proof also.
