If I were anyone of those astonauts I'd probably keep my mouth shut too. I heard they were told to keep quiet if not they'd be killed. I'm pretty sure no-one would take someones life for disclosure of moon rocks. Maybe Buzz is tired of keeping quiet to the U.S and this was a sutle/subliminal way of letting out some of the info?

I don't trust anyone from NASA with all the airbrushing these guys do. But I do believe these guys fear for their lives one slip up and it's curtains.

More than likely, if he was threatened, his family would have been included in that threat as well. The threat would have been extended down into the generations as well, grand children, great grandchildren, etc. Putting your own life at risk is one thing, but would you be willing to put your entire families life at risk as well?

The media will laugh it up while the truth is being told. The world will get a glimps of knowledge being supressed by TPTB. Im sure in the NASA world this is common knowledge. Edgar came clean and he didnt seem like he was in any sort of danger from his recent interviews. Maybe this will set a trend for others to follow in the disclosure that is happening in minute proportions.

This is the ONLY part of his speech that needs a quote and a translation dear ATSers.

It says that NASA and probably neither America is ready for what ambitious goals they have set for the Moon. Instead BUY TIME, by help others do the dirty work to the Moon, while also gathering knowledge spending literally nothing and start getting ready for Mars, which is where the profits will start coming from, ELSE ALL SPACE PROGRAM HOPE IS LOST.

He is not senile. He is RIGHT!
He is a man that tries to keep the space program alive and going.
He has to do whatever he can, even cracking silly jokes about it to draw some attention.
The point is not on the supposed monoliths or on the UFOs parked on the Moon. Wake up people!

YOU ARE LOSING THE CHANCE FOR AN ADVANCE IN YOUR SPACE PROGRAM.

The Moon has nothing that we currently can benefit from. Maybe after some 100 years when technology is advanced we could do some neat stuff with our orbital partner, I mean really neat stuff, but surely not now.
As in the state that our current civilization understands resources and economy, for that part, THE REAL MONEY is in the asteroid zone between mars and Jupiter. We need those goals to get further and surpass the current bottleneck we experiencing in needed funds, interests in space and hope for something better for our society that it is out there.

I personally think the Government is trying to get the masses ready for the truth.

With everythings coming to light, new technologies, new knowledge... Studies being done in Antarctics at the Base down there...

Maybe his slips are just a way for the Government to see how people will react. Or maybe they told him to keep quiet and he is pissed so he is doing things secretly to tell sm1 whats really going on.

Have any of you ever watched StarGate Atlantis and Stargate? It would be a good place to start to explore ideas and such.

Going to the Moon is like the Space Shuttle.

A huge set back and a big waste of Money.
Let the Chinese and India go there and make them share their data because you "helped" them. It is more clever than simply throwing money from an airlock in the empty void.
Probably Russia too has scraped the idea of the Moon and secretly preparing a full fledged military program to Mars like the old Soviets we learned to trust would do.
Aim for the lead and the Moon it's just not the right place. Its so 50's and so cold war while Mars and the Asteroid Belts is so 22nd century. Dare to look forward, this is how you make history.
