Press TV is in English. So, the Germans that do speak English could go to it and read it.

He was referring to the article posted on this page that is from presstv.ir, but it is also printed in Eglish, so quite a few could probably read it. Just not sure how many would want to.

I have honestly never heard of it used besides in description of those that discriminate against either Jews or Israel.

But I think that is because most people do not undersrtand its full definition. Im sure others in the region who are discriminated against would prefer to use it though. But of course, english isnt the main language, so why would they?

In my opinion territorial boundaries are not a good reason to describe discrimination and/or racism with a particular term. It is racism and/or discrimination no matter who the victims are. Sad in all instances.

I'm sorry, but seriously this is a complete insult to the German people. You are claiming how terrible and outrageous this story is; but where is your proof this even happened? The only source you have is from Jewish News/Media. If you can come up with more sources of the incident I will retract this post and reconsider what you are saying. But really you shouldnt be posting such threads until you have a belivable foundation for your arguement.

I think all Bombeni was doing was using an exaggeration, since you said that things are better for the Jews in Germany now than they were during the Word War II era.

I don't know, here in my town, I see plenty of well to do Germans driving around in their expensive cars. It appears that Günther Jauch, Thomas Gottschalk, and the like seem to be well off too. Unless all the rich Germans I see have Jewish blood.

More likely is that the Jews work to get where they are while there are many Germans that just want to live off the government dime.

I think you missed the sarcasm in what I said. I don't believe that saying to the Polizei, "Why did you call me a dirty Jew,", they'd just let me go. If that were true, the German prisions would be empty.

Many people would get out of speeding tickets, too.

No, obviously you're not responsible for the past of your country. I do find it ironic though how you said that the Jews are better off than the average German, yet you go on to explain how you've been treated by some and then say the oppressed become the aggressor.

My advice to you, is to be careful how you react when things like what has happened to you happen. Do you know for sure it was Jews that torched your mailbox? [I didn't know they had mailboxes over here--no one has one in my town.] Are you should that it was Jews that beat you up? Not just Jews are capable of slashing tires and killing animals. It could very well have been German punks. Just because something bad happens doesn't mean that it's the Jews. The Jews aren't controlling the world. Earlier, many Germans blamed all of Germany's ills on the Jews, saying that the Germans were being secretly run by the evil rich Jew. And we know how that turned out.

Well you said a mouthful too. Did I say I unquestionably believed the story of the Jews? No, but I certainly didn't find reason to call it "friggin jewish propoganda" either.

I said it once and apparently it bears repeating: if it had been a German couple whining about this happening to them in Israel, this board would be calling for an execution. Don't worry I've been around here long enough to know it reeks of antisemitism. But he is doing some "critical thinking" ? His rants and foul stories about Jews are critical thinking. The same is pretty much for any people group. In America, if I were to say stuff about Mexicans, or Haitians, or whatever, I'd be looked down upon. Contrary to what you think, there is no effort to shield the Jews and no one else. It's any minority.
